Amphibian Vertebrates
Amphibian Vertebrates is a tech-and-exploration modpack for players who want to build a factory beside a lake, launch a rocket from it, and eventually wonder why the moon has uranium.
Start with survival, Create contraptions, and the comforting sound of machinery near water. Grow into Power Grid, AE2 storage, Mekanism industry, and interplanetary logistics through Northstar Redux.
Then leave the pond.

  • Build kinetic factories with Create before wiring a real power network.
  • Turn AE2 into the brain of an increasingly unreasonable amphibian industrial complex.
  • Progress through Mekanism without skipping straight to cosmic nonsense.
  • Explore seasonal forests, Dynamic Trees, Botany Pots, Antique Atlas maps, and weather that makes every lake look suspiciously important.
  • Travel from the Moon and Mars to Titan, Uranus, and beyond.
  • Mine, automate, and refine planetary resources through a deliberate material chain.
  • Discover Titan as a frozen methane world of dense Lost Cities, factory ruins, and Aluminum. Bring a coat. Frogs are cold-blooded, but so is space.
  • Reach Eternal Starlight through Uranus, where Thioquartz becomes the key to late-game antimatter.
  • Build toward Eden, because every good pond eventually needs an absurdly dangerous endgame destination.

The pack favors long-term factories, clear progression, and worlds worth living in. Exploration matters. Automation matters. Returning home with a new resource and immediately asking how to automate it matters most.
There are no shortcuts around the pond. There are, however, pipes.
Recommended for: builders, explorers, Create engineers, AE2 hoarders, Mekanism maximalists, and anyone who sees a froglight and thinks “industrial catalyst.”
