Overview

Neoclassic is a modpack that tries to make the game feel more classic yet retain modern features still. For those who miss how the worlds used to generate, the grainy textures, or maybe some old gameplay mechanics; there’s something here for everyone. With modern-day QoL features and no “modern visual” tweaks, the pack retains the classic yet freshened up feel.

_Note: Worlds created with Neoclassic are not compatible with other packs, since Cascades cannot be uninstalled from worlds without breaking them. Fair warning!_

Visual/Aesthetic Features

Custom beta-inspired worldgen with Cascades.
Custom resourcepack to make the game feel fresh yet nostalgic.
A plethora of visual and audio enhancements to the HUD and in-game.
Ambient particle effects to spruce up elements of your world even more.
Seasons! Watch the biomes change throughout the days. Each season is 90 days by default.

Quality-of-Life Features

Saturation and food level visuals.
In-game item viewer for recipes, loot, etc.
Auto-eat functionality.
See items and HUD elements while riding mounts.
Bundle and Shulker Box access through inventory.
Never lose a world again! Favorite worlds, and deleted ones go to the Recycle Can.
Pregenerate chunks for efficient performance.
Attack mobs through grass blocks, no more targeting ferns!
Freecam and fullbright for easy exploration.
In-game replay editor/capture with Flashback.
Worledit and Litematica support.
Inventory searching and sorting!
Hotbar block shuffling for texturing, also a block palette browser!
In-game note browser and editor.
Isometric screenshot tool and /render command to get cool renders/photos of any block, item or area in your world!
Singleplayer seed viewer to see what biomes generate around you, either pre-world creation or in-game.
Minimap, worldmap, and waypoints to make exploring and traveling much easier.

Enchantment overhaul! Axes with looting, mending/infinity on bows, protection compatiblity, and more!
Better mounts! Sprint on mounts, no roaming, faster Happy Ghasts and better controls.
Use custom goat horns to call your tamed pets and mounts!
Collect them all! New Completionist’s Index tracks what items you’ve collected in your world.
500+ new/better recipes to maximize resources and make obtaining rare items better!
Disenchant items on anvils, remove armor trims on grindstones!
Lunge enchantment now boosts Elytra flying!
Make item frames invisible for extra decor!
Browse a menu for custom playerheads! Setup required.
Soul Campfires prevent mob spawns when placed above hay bales!
OG AFK fishing returns! Should’ve never left!
Harvest your crops without destroying them, just right click!
Better leads! Transporting is easier, and can attach to any living mob now!
Silk Touch can now pick up tons of new blocks, including spawners!
Sit on any stair or slab, with a config to expand where you relax!
Trading buff! Trades never run out, and you can cycle trades to get the ones you want!
Never lose your items again! Go find your gravestone and get your gear back.

There’s probably a ton more stuff I’m missing, but the only way you’ll ever know is if you play Upgraded and prove it. That being said, enjoy my rendition of perfected vanilla.

Neoclassic 基于 Minecraft Java 版 26.2，使用 Fabric 加载器。

Neoclassic 怎么安装？

点本页「前往下载」拿到整合包文件（Modrinth 的是 .mrpack，CurseForge 的是 .zip），在 PCL2 或 HMCL 启动器里选择「导入整合包」，启动器会自动装好 Minecraft、加载器和全部模组。这个整合包有 197 个模组，建议在启动器里给游戏分配 6–8 GB 内存。
