IronFist’s: Peace Until Midnight

Peace Until Midnight is a Fabric 1.21.1 modpack built around the idea that safety is temporary. During the day, the world feels calm and almost forgiving. Villages stand, ruins invite exploration, and the land feels quiet enough to lower your guard. When midnight arrives, that peace ends. The undead grow stronger, more aggressive, and more numerous, turning darkness into a constant threat rather than a background inconvenience.

This modpack blends a zombie apocalypse with a medieval survival atmosphere. There is no modern technology or firearms to rely on, only preparation, fortifications, and traditional tools. Survival depends on how well you use the daytime to prepare for what comes after sunset. Wandering at night without shelter is dangerous, and ignoring the moon or weather can quickly become fatal.

The world itself is expansive and atmospheric, shaped by large-scale terrain generation, varied biomes, ancient ruins, and overhauled structures that make exploration feel meaningful and risky. Oceans are deeper, dimensions feel more alien, and the environment tells the story of a world that has been worn down over time. Sound, lighting, fog, seasons, and visual effects are all tuned to create constant tension rather than sudden shock.

Undead-focused mods heavily rework nighttime gameplay, introducing zombie variants, hordes, special moon events, and difficulty spikes that make each night unpredictable. Darkness is no longer something to skip through, but a force that actively pressures the player. The farther you push your luck, the harder the world pushes back.

Despite its scale and atmosphere, Peace Until Midnight is carefully optimized for performance and stability. The pack is designed to run smoothly while still delivering dense world generation, immersive audio, and enhanced visuals. It supports both singleplayer and multiplayer, encouraging cooperative survival where communication, planning, and defense matter just as much as individual skill.

Peace Until Midnight is not about constant chaos. It is about the uneasy calm before nightfall, the silence before the undead arrive, and the knowledge that every sunset is a warning.

Please don’t transfer or remove the options.txt and config file because it includes important changes.

This modpack is still in beta so if you encounter any bugs please remember that and I will fix any bugs I find. A discord server is yet to be made.
