**NeoFuture is a technology + space modpack about automation, big factories, and
the journey from your first generator all the way to Mars.**

⚠️ Beta. The pack boots and plays, but hasn’t had a full playthrough yet.

Start with hand-mining, build an energy grid and multi-stage ore processing,
automate everything with a digital storage network — then build a rocket and
conquer the Moon, Mars, Venus, Mercury and Glacio.

Progression: a 140+ node advancement tree

No quest book — progress is tracked the classic way, in a big branched
NeoFuture advancement tab (press L), from Getting Wood to MEGAFACTORY:

• ⚡ Energy: Powah (Furnator → Nitro) and Mekanism (wind → gas → fission → turbine → FUSION)
• ⛏️ Ores: 2× → 3× → 4× → the legendary 5× processing
• 🚜 Mining: Digital Miner, the classic QuarryPlus, RFTools Builder
• 💾 Digital: AE2 — processors → ME network → autocrafting → Quantum Bridge
• 🏭 Factory: Industrial Foregoing farms, mob factories, infinite stone
• 🔨 Tools: Tinkers’ Construct smeltery line
• 🚂 Create: water wheel → brass → trains (Steam ‘n’ Rails), electricity bridge (Crafts & Additions), industrial enchanting, jetpacks
• 🎈 Aeronautics: Eureka airships → Clockwork physics flight (Valkyrien Skies)
• 🚀 Space: Ad Astra — suit → NASA Workbench → rocket → Moon → Mars → Venus → Mercury → Glacio

Built for multiplayer

• Team progression: create a party (Open Parties and Claims) and every NeoFuture milestone is shared with your whole team — split the tech tree between players! (10 players as 3/4/3? Three independent team progressions.)
• Claims protect your base; chunk force-loading is capped per player so quarries can’t kill the server.
• Dedicated-server package with launch scripts and a mod downloader.
• New players get a starter kit and a welcome pointing at the tree; on servers, a one-click prompt to create a team.

Requirements & install

• Java 17, 6–8 GB RAM. Recommended launchers: Modrinth App, Prism.
• Install: import the .mrpack, launch, play. Server: see server/README.md in the server package.

Known limitations

• Beta: no full playthrough yet; report anything odd!
• Clockwork / Valkyrien Skies physics is the most experimental part of the pack.
• No powered armor (kept intentionally lean — Create Jetpack covers flight).
• A custom NeoFuture title screen replaces the vanilla menu (panorama + logo).

Inspiration, clean-room & non-affiliation

NeoFuture is an **unofficial, clean-room spiritual successor inspired by the
classic Czech technology modpack/series _FutureCraft_**. The name is a
deliberate, respectful nod to that inspiration — nothing more.

It uses no original FutureCraft files, configs, worlds, textures, logos,
quests or branding. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by GEJMR, MenT,
Mojang, Microsoft, or the original modpack authors.
