Stumble upon the backrooms dimension in Minecraft with Places and explore until you go mad. Find the exit, if you can… if you will…

Intended for multiplayer so play with your friends! Pack your stuff with Reliable Backpacks, build your on-the-go bases with Simply Tents, enjoy newer Minecraft features like Bundles with Vanilla Backport, capture the places with Exposure cameras and recover lost photos along the way.

Riding your horse across the plains while looking for a settlement, an unusual mound of dirt catches your eye. You get closer to investigate and find a wooden house in ruins. Time has eroded the traces left by the previous resident. Rummaging through the leftovers, you discover a basement, and down there is a door.

You enter and find… a place. Bathed in fluorescent lights, stale carpet, and walls adorned in yellow wallpaper stretching to mazes of corridors and halls. The curiousity and awe wells up within you. Only until you turn back and realize — there’s no leaving.

This is version 1.0.x, to see other changes from 1.1.x and above, check the suggestions below and the changelogs for tweaks.

Distraction-free Recipe

  • Removed the guide text and button.

  • Removed chiseled bookshelf tooltip
  • Note: you can remove the tooltip from Easy Magic or Scholar whichever you prefer

Simply Tents BlackList

  • Reliable Backpacks can’t be picked up by tents
  • Shulker boxes can’t be picked up by tents
  • Blacklisted all the tents (this should be taken care of by the datapack)

Simple Voice Chat – Freecam mode to Player

Keybinds:

Carry On – change from Left Shift to B

EMI – favorites keybind from A to V

Rebind Narrator – narrator keybind to Esc (get rid of it)

Simple Voice Chat – Group Management to J, Voice Chat Menu to K, Whisper to C, Push to Talk to R

HT’s TreeChop – Open Settings Overlay to Not Bound

点本页「前往下载」拿到整合包文件（Modrinth 的是 .mrpack，CurseForge 的是 .zip），在 PCL2 或 HMCL 启动器里选择「导入整合包」，启动器会自动装好 Minecraft、加载器和全部模组。这个整合包有 67 个模组，建议在启动器里给游戏分配 4–6 GB 内存。

Exploring: Places (Backrooms) 开服需要多大内存？
