Someone’s been making a mess of your Minecraft world, and it’s up to you to clean it up!

Keep the World Tidy scatters litter across the Overworld: screwed-up paper, drink cans, odd socks, soggy old sandwiches, and now and then a whole fly-tipped pile of rubbish. Walk through any of it and it’s gone. You get experience, a “+XP” pop-up, a cheeky quip and a happy little chime for every bit you tidy away.

It’s a small, light-hearted mod that gives you a reason to explore and a steady trickle of XP while you’re out and about.

✨ Features

• 🗑️ 18 kinds of litter spread over the Overworld
• 🚶 Just walk through it. No clicking or breaking needed; litter vanishes as soon as you step on it
• 🟢 Instant XP goes straight into your experience bar
• ➕ A floating “+N” rises above your hotbar so you can see what you earned
• 😂 A funny quip for every type of litter (i.e. “How do you lose just ONE shoe?”)
• 🔔 A cheerful chime when you collect, with a special sound for the big finds
• ✨ Happy green sparkles where the litter used to be
• 💎 Rare finds worth much more XP: old phones, old laptops, and the very rare fly-tipped pile of rubbish

💡 Litter isn’t an item. You can’t pick it up or craft it. The only thing to do with it is tidy it up!

📌 Good to Know

• Litter only appears in newly generated chunks. If you’re adding the mod to an existing world, explore somewhere new or use /keeptidy scatter.
• Litter turns up on open ground. You won’t find it in water, on ice, or up in the trees.
• XP goes straight to you, so it doesn’t repair Mending gear.
• The mod needs to be installed on both the client and the server.
• No other mods are required.

Can I use this in my modpack? Yes, go for it! A link back to this page is always appreciated.

I installed it but I can’t see any litter. Litter is only placed in newly generated land. Travel to unexplored areas, or run /keeptidy scatter if you’re an operator.
