Campfire Safe Zone
Campfire Safe Zone turns campfires into configurable protection points for your world. Hostile mobs are blocked from spawning inside the safe zone around a campfire, making camps, bases, paths, and outdoor builds easier to protect without changing normal mob behavior everywhere else.
Features
- Creates a configurable safe zone around campfires and soul campfires.
- Blocks hostile mob spawns horizontally and vertically inside the configured range.
- Default range is
32, which protects up to16blocks from the campfire on X, Y, and Z. - Safe zones can be configured to work only when the campfire is lit.
- Campfires can be configured to place unlit by default.
- Works in singleplayer and on dedicated servers.
Configuration
range: Controls the full safe-zone size. The effective protection distance is half of this value.unlitWhenPlaced: When enabled, newly placed campfires and soul campfires start unlit.requireLitForSafeZone: When enabled, only lit campfires create safe zones. Unlit campfires allow hostile mobs to spawn normally.
Notes
- The mod affects hostile mob spawning only.
- Existing mobs are not removed.
- Players can still light and extinguish campfires normally.
- Client installation is not required when joining a server that has the mod installed.
