Outlaws are hiding all over your world, and you’re the only Bounty Hunter in town.

Craft your Wanted Book, study the mug shots, track the crooks down and bring them in, alive or dead, depending on what the poster says. Get it right and the cash rolls in. Get it wrong and there’s No Reward for your action!

There’s no end to the hunt. New outlaws keep turning up as you travel, so the only question is: how big a bounty can you earn?

This is a whole new mod, not an add-on to the original Wanted For Kills.

📖 The Wanted Book

Craft it with an Iron Sword on top, a Book in the middle and TNT underneath. Right-click to open it.

• Two-page mug shots of every outlaw, each with a funny face, a ridiculous name, their crime, how they’re wanted and the reward
• Every poster is marked WANTED DEAD, WANTED ALIVE or WANTED DEAD OR ALIVE, so read it carefully before you act
• Caught outlaws get a red CAPTURED or DECEASED stamp across their poster
• A search box on the first page finds outlaws by name, crime or mob type, and filter tabs show All, At Large, Captured or Deceased
• Page 1 also shows your Hunter Rank, your cash, lifetime earnings and stats

🦹 The Outlaws

Your world starts with 10 outlaws, and a new poster arrives as you travel across your world.

• Wanted villagers hide in real villages wearing ordinary clothes, so they blend right in
• An outlaw’s name appears above their head once you get within 10 blocks, and stays there
• Criminals charged with Assault or Murder fight back. A wanted villager will pull out an iron sword and come for you!
• Minor criminals shout “No!” and make a run for it
• Wanted Pillagers, Skeletons and Zombies still attack like normal mobs, so expect arrows

💰 Crimes & Rewards

Various crimes are being committed by these bad Wanted mobs. They range from Robbery to Murder, Littering to Vandalism and even more! Kill someone the poster wants alive, or capture a murderer who’s wanted dead, and you get nothing!

🪢 The Lasso

Craft a Lasso (1 Lead + 2 String) and right-click a Wanted mob with it to capture them alive. Poof! They’re off to jail and the reward goes straight onto your total.

🔥 Posters That Heat Up

• Every in-game day an outlaw stays at large, their reward rises by 10%, up to double
• Some outlaws are leaving the area soon. Their poster counts down (“Leaving in 2d 5h!”), and if you’re too slow they skip town and get an ESCAPED stamp

⭐ MOST WANTED

Rare gold-bordered posters worth $1,000 or more.

• Four times the health, extra armour and much harder hits
• Guarded by a gang of 2–3 henchmen ($25 each!)
• Bring them in to seize their loot stash: diamonds, emeralds, gold, an enchanted book and golden apples, with a chance of an enchanted golden apple

🗣️ The Informant

Every village has an Informant, an unemployed villager whose name appears when you get within 5 blocks. Ask him where the Wanted are and he might:

• Give you a direction or exact coordinates for $5
• Tell you “You can’t afford my info!”
• Or just be rude: “Go and suck a chicken egg!”, “Go and swim in lava!” and more

Once he’s spoken he never changes his answer. You can also ask him for the village gossip, once.

🏅 Hunter Ranks

Climb the ranks with your lifetime earnings. Spending money never lowers your rank.

Rookie → Deputy ($500) → Sheriff ($2,500) → Marshal ($7,500) → Legendary Bounty Hunter ($20,000)

Your star badge on the HUD changes from tin to bronze, silver and gold, and finally to a glowing gold star with a ruby. Every rank-up comes with a fanfare!

⭐ The Sheriff

Every village also has a Sheriff. Right-click him to visit the Sheriff’s Office and spend your bounty cash on hunting gear.

• Each Sheriff offers 5 deals that never change, and every village’s Sheriff is different
• Everyday supplies like arrows, food, lassos, iron armour and potions
• Rare treasures if you can find them and afford them: Diamond Sword, Totem of Undying, even an Enchanted Golden Apple

🖥️ Your Bounty Total

Your cash sits in the top-left corner with your sheriff’s star and rank. Messages pop up underneath it as you play, like “+$200 Bounty Reward!”, “Payment for Informant” and “No Reward for your action!”

Your cash is saved with your world and kept when you die.
