Pyrentium

A shiny red Nether ore with diamond-strength gear, and armour that doubles your hearts!

Deep in the Nether, among the netherrack, basalt and blackstone, a new glowing red ore is waiting to be found. Mine it, smelt it, and forge a full set of Pyrentium tools and armour. Wear the whole set and your health bar goes from 10 hearts to 20 hearts, but all that extra metal comes at a cost: you’ll move 10% slower.

Tough enough to tank anything, slow enough that you’ll have to think about it.

⛏️ Pyrentium Ore

• Found only in the Nether, at all heights, in small veins
• Glows faintly, so it’s easier to spot in the dark
• Mine it with an iron pickaxe or better (same as Diamond Ore)
• Drops Raw Pyrentium and a little XP
• Fortune gives you extra Raw Pyrentium, and Silk Touch gives you the ore block itself

🔥 Smelting

Put Raw Pyrentium in a furnace or a blast furnace (the blast furnace is twice as fast) to get a Pyrentium Ingot.

🛡️ Pyrentium Armour

A full set of helmet, chestplate, leggings and boots, with the same protection as Diamond armour. The helmet has a full face cover with glowing eyes.

Armour toughness 2 per piece, enchantable just like Diamond.

❤️ Full Set Bonus

Wear all four pieces to unlock the set bonus:

• ✅ +10 extra hearts (20 hearts in total!)
• ❌ 10% slower walking and running

Take any piece off and the bonus (and the slowdown) goes away straight away. Each armour piece shows the bonus in its tooltip, so you’ll always know what you’re getting.

⚔️ Pyrentium Tools

Sword, Pickaxe, Axe, Shovel and Hoe, all with the same stats as Diamond tools:

• 1561 durability
• Diamond mining speed and mining level (mines everything Diamond can)
• Diamond attack damage
• Enchantable and repairable with Pyrentium Ingots

🌋 Fire and Lava Proof

Every Pyrentium item, from raw ore to armour, is fireproof, just like Netherite. Drop it in lava and it’ll float right back up instead of burning away.

🧰 Crafting

All recipes use the normal vanilla shapes, with Pyrentium Ingots in place of the usual material and sticks for tool handles. If you can craft Diamond gear, you already know how to craft Pyrentium gear.

❗ Good to Know

• Pyrentium Ore only appears in newly generated Nether chunks. If you’re adding the mod to an existing world, head out to parts of the Nether you haven’t explored yet.
• The mod is needed on both the client and the server.
