Why get one ore when you can get a whole handful?

The Insane Pickaxe is a chunky, shiny pickaxe with a wild twist: every time you mine an ore with it, you get the normal drop plus a burst of random bonus ores spilling out of the block. Break a coal ore and walk away with redstone, raw gold and lapis. Break an iron ore and, if luck is on your side, a diamond pops out too!

It’s simple, it’s fun, and it makes every mining trip feel like opening a loot box.

Idea came from the excellent Minecraft Hunger Games on YouTube!

✨ Features

• Bonus ores on every ore you mine: each ore block gives 1 to 3 extra random drops on top of its normal drop.
• Loads of possible rewards: coal, raw copper, raw iron, raw gold, redstone, lapis lazuli, nether quartz, and (rarely!) emeralds and diamonds.
• Works on any ore: overworld ores, deepslate ores, nether ores, and modded ores that use the standard ore tag.
• Diamond-strength tool: same mining speed, durability and damage as a diamond pickaxe, so it’s a proper everyday pickaxe, not a gimmick.
• Always shiny: it has a permanent enchanted glint, so it looks the part straight out of the crafting table.
• Enchantable: put Efficiency, Unbreaking, Mending and Fortune on it just like any other pickaxe (Fortune boosts the ore’s normal drop and the bonus drops still come on top).
• Repairable with diamonds in an anvil.

📌 Good to Know

• Bonus drops only happen in Survival (and Adventure), not Creative.
• With Silk Touch you get the ore block itself and no bonus drops, so leave Silk Touch off this one.
• It only triggers on ore blocks, so stone, dirt and other blocks mine normally.
• The pickaxe must be the right tier for the ore (it’s diamond tier, so it can mine everything a diamond pickaxe can).

📦 Installation

1. Drop the Insane Pickaxe .jar into your mods folder.
2. Launch the game and start mining!

For multiplayer, install the mod on both the server and every player’s game.
