A giant Rubik’s Cube has appeared in your world… and it’s full of monsters.

The Puzzle Cube adds a huge, rare dungeon shaped like a scrambled Rubik’s Cube. Inside are 27 rooms over 3 levels, each one harder than the last, packed with traps, parkour, four brand-new monsters and better loot the higher you climb. Can you solve the Cube and reach the treasury at the top?

🟥🟧🟨 What You’ll Find

A Cube Like No Other

• An 80-block-wide cube standing on the landscape, its six faces covered in coloured concrete “stickers” (white, yellow, red, orange, blue and green), just like the real thing.
• Every Cube is scrambled differently, so no two look the same.
• A stone path lined with lantern posts leads you to the big entrance at ground level.

27 Rooms, 3 Levels

• 9 rooms on every level, joined by archways and double dark oak doors (with a big enough gap for cube crawlers to get through above), making one long winding route with a few shortcuts.
• Only the last room on each level leads upward. Find it, then climb the spiral of white quartz stairs that winds around an open drop. There’s no centre pillar, so watch your step!
• The higher you go, the harder it gets: taller pillars, bigger mazes, lava moats with narrow bridges, lava floors with gaps to jump, caged spawners, cobweb caves, graveyards and stepped pyramids of coloured cubes.
• Each level has its own look:
  • Level 1: Stone brick
  • Level 2: Nether brick
  • Level 3: End stone and purpur

Fully Furnished Rooms

The Cube isn’t just empty boxes. Rooms are filled with bookcases, workshop benches, beds, fireplaces, dining tables with chairs, rugs, banners in the Cube colours and hanging lanterns, plus strange machines that seem to do absolutely nothing: piston engines, tesla coils, crystal reactors, control consoles, pipe organs, and even a door that leads nowhere. Keep an eye out for statues too: armoured guardians, scrambled mini-cubes and bone idols.

Glowstone is set into the floors, so the lower levels are well lit. The upper levels are dimmer…

The Treasury

The final room on Level 3 is an island in a lava lake with a heap of goodies and four treasure chests, guarded by the mighty Cube Warden.

👾 New Monsters

Monsters keep spawning inside the Cube, and some rooms have spawners too, so don’t hang around!

💎 Loot

The higher you climb, the better the rewards:

✅ Lootr compatible: the Cube uses normal loot tables, so if you have Lootr installed every player gets their own loot.

🗺️ Finding the Cube

The Puzzle Cube is rare. Look for it on fairly flat, dry ground in these biomes:

• Plains and Sunflower Plains
• Meadow
• Savanna and Savanna Plateau
• Desert
• Forest, Flower Forest and Birch Forest
• Taiga
• Snowy Plains

📝 Good to Know

• The Cube is huge, so the first time one generates your game may pause for a moment while it’s built.
• No other mods needed. Lootr is optional.
• Works in singleplayer and multiplayer. Install on both the server and the client.
• Tip: bring a water bucket, plenty of food and your best armour. Milk is handy for the Crawlers’ poison and the Archers’ arrows!
