LvNTM (Levviata’s Nuclear Tech Modpack)

A lightweight Nuclear Tech modpack with Refined Storage and a complete quest book.

My curated list of optimization mods was also added, maximizing performance.

OptiFine is disregarded and will cause issues, I have done my best to implement _most_ of its features. Though if you want shaders you’ll have to use it (at your own discretion, without warranties).

\- Many little details I put out with my Detail Brain-Chip(TM) hardware, this assures complete fun and quality. For example:

• Late game machines, desh, schrabidium, etc. are fireproof.
• Many thoughtful grinding quests that make progression easier
• Quests have treats and explosives
• Swords are flipped horizontally
• Infinite durability for tools above decorated cobalt and the crowbar (Terraria-like)
• Increased durability for vein mining pickaxes (Dwarven Pickaxe, Steel and Cobalt Pickaxes)
• Stat rebalances for Redstone and Great sword
• Dynamic tooltip for Powered Drill fuel usage and its other engines
• Custom missile parts and premade missile recipe cohesion, with parts being interchangeable
• Magnetic Antimatter Container has a total storage of 32 buckets from 16
• Removed a lot of the old and unused items, for a cleaner item catalog
• Size 15 Volcano Warhead is fixed, with no explosion logic in base NTM:CE.
• Informative tooltips for machines (if they are deprecated, how they work, alternative names)
• Damage rebalance for axes

Cleanroom

Inside your modpack instance folder you will find a special folder:
\- Cleanroom

These config files will install the needed mods. To install, move the config files out of the folder to config/mod-director, so that they are together with the other config files (.curse.json).

Upon starting the game, the modpack will install them, and you’ll be able to set up cleanroom with the Cleanroom Relauncher.

You also must disable these conflicting mods:

• Fullscreen Windowed
• Raw Input

If you don’t, your screen will be messed up, and you won’t be able to move your mouse in-game.

Notes

After booting once and downloading all required mods, you may disable File Director mod to boot up faster.

If you are using any Nuclear Tech addons and having issues, disable Bansoukou mod.

If you prefer AE2 you may use this or your preferred fork. There are no AE2 quests.

I tweaked many recipes to make the game easier, for example book of boxcar pages or the Heretic, if you are a hardcore factorio or masochism fan I don’t recommend.

With Cleanroom and 32 chunks, the FPS still hold up and hit a stable >60, which is a miracle to be honest.

The game looks good, the FPS are good, the quests are good, what other Nuclear Tech modpack would you ever wish than this one!
