Tame Every Mob

Turn almost every vanilla mob into a loyal companion, then train, equip, command, ride and protect it.

Tame Every Mob expands Minecraft’s pet system beyond wolves and cats. Passive animals, hostile mobs and powerful creatures can become persistent companions with their own behavior, equipment and progression. Available mobs and features depend on your Minecraft version.

Tame and command your pets

Use mob-specific items and meet each creature’s taming requirements to build your own companion team. The Taming Guide explains how to tame supported mobs, while the Upgrade Guide helps you find suitable equipment and upgrades.

The Mob Behavior Controller lets you rename pets, inspect their health and owner, and choose how they move and fight:

• Movement: Follow, Stay or Wander.
• Combat: Passive, Defensive or Aggressive.
• Control whether each pet attacks players or other tamed mobs.

Heal injured companions with suitable food, Healing Treats or Monster Meat.

Train and upgrade companions

Complete pet-specific tasks to unlock additional upgrade slots. Equip compatible pets with Pet Armour, Pet Swords and upgrades that add combat abilities, protection and useful behavior.

Regular upgrades include regeneration, water breathing, loot collection and Sun Shield, which protects suitable pets from sunlight. Find upgrades as loot and use the guides to check their effects and compatibility.

Epic Upgrades offer larger changes, such as riding normally unrideable mobs, changing a pet’s size or creating a temporary combat duplicate. The Double Epic Upgrade lets a pet combine two Epic Upgrades.

Ride and use mob abilities

The Ride Mobs Upgrade turns compatible companions into controllable mounts. Travel on land, through water or through the air with supported mobs, and use mob-specific abilities such as teleportation or ranged attacks.

A configurable ability key and HUD help you use your mount’s special actions.

Store, find and recall pets

Mob Pockets store and transport compatible pets. Choose a pocket with the capacity you need, select individual stored companions, or collect and release groups of pets. Special pockets support miniature boss companions, and Pocket enchantments provide additional storage and utility options.

Use the My Mobs Finder to locate your pets and the Mob Recall Totem to bring available companions back to you.

Guides and configuration

The built-in guides explain taming, upgrade effects and mob compatibility. Custom advancements reward progress as you tame, train, transport and fight alongside your companions.

Configure keybinds, the ability HUD and behavior displays where supported. Tame Every Mob manages pets registered by this mod; pets from other mods remain under their own systems.

Planned

• Pet Release & Breeding Improvements – Add an option to release/untame pets and prevent normally bred livestock from automatically becoming pets.
