Turn your world into a living metropolis — with four powerful hero suits, a voice-capable AI assistant, and cities worth swinging through.

Spider City is a Forge 1.20.1 content mod that adds sprawling modern cities, ruined skyscrapers, and a full lineup of spider-themed hero suits. It’s built as a companion to web-swinging / wall-crawling movement mods — giving you tall buildings to travel between and a reason to fight crime — but everything works perfectly on its own.

Four Hero Suits

Each suit is a full 4-piece set (mask, chest, leggings, boots). Bonuses require wearing the complete set. All of them craft on a normal crafting table using Spider Silk Fiber (string + slime ball) as the core material.

🕸️ Stealth Suit

• Permanent Night Vision
• Sneak to become fully invisible (5 seconds)
• While invisible, attacks from behind deal double damage

🕷️ Symbiote Suit

• Strength II, Speed, and Jump Boost II
• Wither Aura — nearby hostile mobs are withered on contact
• Venom Smash — land from 8+ blocks to unleash a ground-shattering shockwave (bigger falls = more damage and range)
• Beware the bond: wear it too long and the symbiote bonds permanently (Curse of Binding). Break free by ringing a Bell — or by staying on fire for 4 seconds.

🔺 Upgraded Suit

• Speed and agility boosts
• Web-wing glide — jump in mid-air to deploy translucent web wings and glide like an elytra (no elytra required)
• Web-zip — sprint while gliding to launch a forward burst in the direction you’re looking, letting you gain altitude

🤖 Iron Spider Suit — the flagship

• The heaviest armor in the mod, plus +3 hearts
• Four mechanical back arms — press R to deploy/retract them (they only appear when deployed)
• While deployed: +3 attack reach and Strength III, with the arms thrusting forward on every strike
• Electric Web — sneak while the arms are out to release a paralysing shockwave (8 damage + 3s stun in an 8-block radius)
• Instant-Kill Mode — drop below 3 hearts and the suit takes over: mask eyes glow red, arms auto-deploy, and nearby hostiles are wiped out until you recover

  A World Worth Exploring

  • Cities — full 168×168-block modern “villages”: street grids with lights, modern houses and towers, working staircases, loads of beds and job blocks, living villagers, iron golems, loot, and street decorations. /locate structure spidercity:city
  • Skyscrapers — scattered towers whose style matches the biome (sandstone in deserts, ice in the snow, mossy stone in forests, sleek glass elsewhere), complete with furnished rooms, rooftop antennas, water towers and lights.
  • Abandoned Towers — ruined high-rises out in the wild: broken glass, moss, cobwebs, pitch-black interiors, cave-mob spawners and loot for the brave.
