✨ Overview

Rustic Hearth brings a medieval countryside to your world: furniture and decoration for a cosy cottage, vineyards, olive groves and herb gardens, bees, a brewing barrel for booze and an alchemy workshop to turn herbs into elixirs. A built-in Almanac explains every machine and recipe. It is a fork of Rustic Revived (NeoForge, by NadienDev), which is a port of Rustic (1.12.2) by cadaverous-eris and the-realest-stu. The code and assets have been modified. This fork is unofficial and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the original authors.

🏠 Decoration and storage

• Furniture: chairs and tables in every vanilla wood plus olive wood and ironwood; cabinets, pots and vases.
• Lighting: candles, chandelier rings and iron lanterns.
• Building blocks: slate, stone pillars, clay walls, painted wood, iron lattice, ropes and chains.
• Gargoyles to watch over your roof.

🍇 Farming

• Crops: grapes, olives, tomatoes, chili peppers, wildberries and ironberries.
• Apple trees with their own leaves and saplings, and ironwood and olive trees.
• Crop stakes and fertile soil for a tidier, more productive garden.
• Apiaries and bees that produce honeycomb and beeswax.
• Herbs to forage or grow: aloe vera, chamomile, ginseng, wind thistle and more.

🍷 Brewing and alchemy

• Barrels and brewing barrels that ferment juice and oil into booze; liquid barrels to store fluids.
• Alchemy workshop: crushing tub, evaporating basin and condenser (with the advanced retort) turn herbs and ingredients into elixirs with unique effects.
• The Almanac: an in-game guide to every block, plant and recipe.

💭 Notes

• License: MIT, the same as Rustic Revived and Rustic. Credit to cadaverous-eris and the-realest-stu (Rustic) and NadienDev (Rustic Revived). The code and assets have been modified.
• Originals: Rustic and Rustic Revived. This fork is unofficial.
• Compared with Rustic Revived, the optional integrations with CraftTweaker, KubeJS, Dynamic Trees and InvTweaks have been removed (JEI and Quark are kept).
• Every block and item lives in the rustic_hearth namespace, so it does not clash with Rustic or Rustic Revived if you install them side by side.
• Beta: the mod builds and the dedicated server starts cleanly, but it has not been played in-game yet. Expect rough edges.
