RAS – Flat Attribute Levels

RAS Flat Attribute Levels is a lightweight client-side addon for RPG Attribute System (RAS) that replaces raw decimal attribute values in the attribute upgrade screen with simple, readable levels.

Instead of seeing values such as:

• 0.10
• 0.1025
• 0.105

the interface displays:

• 1
• 2
• 3

This makes attribute progression much easier to understand at a glance while keeping all original RAS calculations intact.

How it works

The mod uses the amount of points invested into each RAS attribute and converts it into a simple display level:

• 0 invested points → Level 1
• 1 invested point → Level 2
• 2 invested points → Level 3
• 3 invested points → Level 4
• and so on.

This is display-only.

The real attribute values used by RAS and Minecraft are never changed.

What remains unchanged

RAS Flat Attribute Levels does not modify:

• Attribute calculations
• Attribute bonuses
• Movement speed
• Attack speed
• Damage
• Health
• Attribute caps
• Attribute point costs
• Attribute progression
• Upgrade buttons
• Available attribute points
• RAS save data

The RAS bonus/statistics page is also left untouched, so you can still see the real numerical bonuses provided by each attribute.

Example

Without the addon:

Agility: 0.105

With RAS Flat Attribute Levels:

Agility: 3

The actual Agility value is still 0.105 internally.

Compatibility

• Forge 47.x
• RPG Attribute System 4.2.x

The mod is client-side and only modifies the RAS attribute allocation interface.

Installation

1. Install Forge for Minecraft 1.20.1.
2. Install RPG Attribute System.
3. Place RAS Flat Attribute Levels in your mods folder.
4. Launch the game.

No configuration is required.

Why?

RAS uses real Minecraft attribute values internally, which is great for calculations but can make progression harder to read for players.

RAS Flat Attribute Levels keeps those calculations untouched while presenting the upgrade system in a more traditional RPG-style format:
