Radonium

Overview

A mod that adds colored, dynamic lighting entirely on the client side. It also ensures the lighting is well-optimized and minimizes bugs.

One of Radonium’s key features is optimization essentially, the mod combines high-quality lighting with optimized performance.

Configuration

You can easily configure the mod in-game using ModMenu and Cloth Config API. After installing both, simply find this mod in your mod list and click the configuration button. The mod offers a wide variety of optimization tweaks, including multithreaded particle rendering, occlusion culling behind blocks, lighting adjustments, and much more.

Future plans:

1. Make explosions more spectacular.

2. Add compatibility with the Vulkan mod.

3. Add compatibility with the latest versions of Polytone.

4. Porting to 1.21.11, 26.2, and 26.3. And a potential port to NeoForge 1.21.11+.

Modpack Exception (Permitted Use)

1. Permission: Notwithstanding the “NoDerivatives” (ND) restriction of the CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 license, you are granted automatic permission to include this mod in any modpack or mod collection. You may distribute, bundle, and repackage the mod’s files as part of your modpack without requesting prior written consent from the author.

2. Conditions: This exception applies only if the modpack is distributed entirely free of charge and is not used for commercial purposes (in line with the “NonCommercial” restriction). Credit to the original author must be provided in the modpack’s documentation or description, along with a link to the official project page.
