Quick Flatrules

A lightweight utility mod designed for mod developers, pack creators, and creative testers.

Automatically configures convenient testing gamerules whenever you create a Creative Superflat world with cheats enabled.

Features

When creating a Creative Superflat world, the following gamerules are automatically applied:

• doMobSpawning: false (Prevents slimes and natural mob spawning)

• doDaylightCycle: false (Locks time)

• doWeatherCycle: false (Prevents rain and storms)

• keepInventory: true (Keeps your items upon death)

Note: Structures (such as villages) are left entirely to the vanilla world creation options.

Commands

• /quick_flatrules quickrule <true|false>

  • Manually toggles between the testing rules (true) and vanilla default gamerules (false).

• /quick_flatrules killmobs (or simply /killmobs)

  • Instantly clears living mobs without dropping items or breaking Item Frames, Armor Stands, and dropped items.

Permissions & Compatibility

• Only activates when creating a Creative + Superflat + Cheats Enabled world. Normal survival worlds and default terrain remain completely untouched.

• Applied only on initial world creation; subsequent world loads or manual gamerule modifications will not be overwritten.

• Server-side capable: Works in singleplayer and on dedicated testing servers without forcing clients to install it.
