Mowzie & Nouveau

Shape sunlight, frost, and stone in your own spell arrangements.

Mowzie & Nouveau is an unofficial addon that brings selected Mowzie’s Mobs abilities into Ars Nouveau as glyphs, powered by Ars Conflux. Turn materials from your adventures into reusable magic and combine it with Ars casting methods and supported augments.

Features

18 glyphs across five themes:

Solar magic: Sunstrike, Solar Beam, Solar Flare, and Supernova.
Frost: Ice Ball and Ice Breath.
Geomancy: Rock Sling, Boulder Lift, Pillar Rise, Tunnel, and the Geomantic Mass augment.
Naga acid: Acid Ball and Acid Splash.
Moon curses: Full, Gibbous, Half, Crescent, and New Moon Curse.

Native effect entities, renderers, sounds, and mechanics are reused where applicable. Supported damage benefits from Ars spell-damage equipment and events.

Build Your Own Spells

Arrangement	Result
Projectile → Ice Ball → Harm	Deliver native ice magic, then apply an Ars damage effect after a successful impact.
Self → Solar Beam	Emit a sustained solar beam while paying Mana for its output.
Touch → Boulder Lift → Geomantic Mass	Raise a larger native boulder from suitable ground.
Projectile → Full Moon Curse	Apply a weakening moon curse around the selected point.

Ice Ball and Acid Ball are projectile replacement augments. Geomantic Mass increases the native size of supported geomancy abilities; it is separate from Amplify’s damage increase.

Other abilities appear as effects. Solar Beam and Ice Breath can be emitted by yourself or an eligible allied living entity.

Adventure Materials Become Glyphs

Use the Scribe’s Table to craft a glyph from a Source Gem, its corresponding material, and 27 experience points. Learn it by using the glyph item.

Recipes use materials such as Sol Visage, Ice Crystal, Naga Fang, geomancy equipment, and the matching Elokosa Paw. The source item is consumed during crafting.

All glyphs are Ars Tier 1; obtaining their source materials provides the progression gate.

Mana and Cooldowns

Imported abilities pay additional Ars Mana when they activate. Sustained abilities pay an initial cost and upkeep for continued output. Repeating projectile forms pay for their accepted activations.

Cooldowns are managed through Ars Conflux. The five moon-paw curses share a cooldown. Ordinary Ars casting-method and augment costs still apply.

mowzies_nouveau-server.toml controls supported Mana costs, cooldowns, channel durations, geomancy limits, and curse settings.

Native Rules and Scope

Sunstrike still requires exposed ground under an open sky. Boulder Lift and Pillar Rise need suitable terrain, and Tunnel currently supports player recipients only.

The addon adapts selected abilities for Ars arrangements; native item-use animations and equipment-fuel requirements are not reproduced in every case. Solar Beam and Ice Breath currently require a living emitter rather than a fixed-position origin.

This is an independent, unofficial integration by EndXiom, not an official Mowzie’s Mobs project. The original mod remains required. Its original code and assets are not included in this addon.
