In The Gloom

This mod changes Minecraft so that exploring dark places is severely limited without having proper light source. Naturally dark places like caves will be instantly affected and at night time – only the nights close to full moon are lit well enough to not affect the player.

In the gloom the player’s abilities are limited and will eventually stack up to a very unpleasant experience where the player is either forced to light up the area or face the consequences of staying in the dark for too long.

The mod combines best with True Darkness Refabricated and especially its BTW Styled Darkness configuration.
