Hearthfolk Ledger

A Trade Ledger that lists every nearby villager trade and lets you trade from it, plus fairer villager prices.

What it does

• The Trade Ledger lists every trade of every villager within 48 blocks, with prices and stock.
• Trade from the ledger: click a line to buy once, shift-click to buy as many as you can afford. No walking between stalls.
• Right-click a line and that villager glows, so you can find them.
• Discounts are capped at 30 percent. Curing zombie villagers no longer gets you one-emerald everything.
• Villagers stock more as they rank up, and a Trade Contract rerolls the offers of a villager you have not traded with yet.
• Reroll button: on the trade screen of a villager nobody has traded with yet, one click draws new trades. No breaking and replacing the workstation.
• Search and stars: the ledger has a search box, and Ctrl-click stars a trade so it stays at the top of the list.
• Villagers take a lead: villagers and wandering traders can be leashed, so moving one to its new home is a walk.
• Villagers restock when you talk to them, workstation or not, at most twice a day as in vanilla. restockOnTalk in the config turns it off.
• Emerald gifts: sneak and use an emerald on a villager and it trusts you a little more, so its prices drop a little. emeraldGiftTrust in the config turns it off.
• Villager lure: hold a block of emerald and villagers within 10 blocks follow you, so moving them to a trading hall is a walk. lureRange in config/hearthfolk.json (0 turns it off).
• Who works here: sneak and use a workstation with an empty hand, and the villager who claimed it glows for ten seconds. showWorker in config/hearthfolk.json.
• Bell call: ring a bell and every villager within 32 blocks glows for ten seconds, with a head count.
• Feed a hurt villager: sneak and use bread, a carrot, a potato or a beetroot on a hurt villager to heal it 3 hearts per item. foodHeals in the config turns it off.
• Look a villager over: sneak and use a villager with an empty hand and the action bar shows its level and how many trades are still in stock.
• Who sleeps here: sneak and use a bed with an empty hand and the villager who claimed it glows, like the one at a workstation.
• Bell count: ringing a bell also says how many villagers around it have no bed.

Needs

• Minecraft 26.3, 1.21.11 or 1.21.1 with Fabric Loader + Fabric API, or with NeoForge. Pick the file for your version and loader on the Files tab.
• Installed on both the client and the server (it adds blocks, items and its own screens)

Hearthfolk is one of five mods written together for the Emberwild Journey modpack: waystones, backpacks, runes, networked storage and villager trading, with matching art and screens. It also works on its own.
