Earth Cube Biomes brings back ExtrabiomesXL, the classic 1.7.10 biome mod, for Minecraft 1.21.1 / NeoForge: its 28 biomes, giant trees, flowers, blocks and items, with the original values and behaviours.

The mod was rewritten from scratch. The original code was only used as a reference for values and behaviours, and all textures are new, made in a vanilla 1.21 style.

🌲 28 biomes

Alpine, Autumn Woods, Birch Grove, Extreme Jungle, Forested Hills, Forested Island, Glacier, Green Hills, Green Swamplands, Ice Wasteland, Marsh (disabled by default, as in the original), Flowering Meadow, Mini Jungle, Mountainous Desert, Red Rock Mountains, Mountain Taiga, Pine Forest, Rainforest, Redwood Forest, Lush Redwoods, Arid Savanna, Shrubland, Snow Forest, Snowy Rainforest, Temperate Rainforest, Tundra, Wasteland, Woodlands.

Each biome keeps its original climate, surface, colours, mobs and decoration. The special features are back too:

• quicksand pits;
• red rock oases;
• cattails and leaf piles;
• climbing gloriosa;
• eelgrass;
• wild strawberries;
• the rare Legend Oaks, which also grow in vanilla forests and plains.

🪵 9 wood types

Whitebark Acacia, Autumn, Bald Cypress, Cypress, Fir, Japanese Maple, Rainbow Eucalyptus, Redwood, Sakura.

Each one has logs, wood, stripped variants, planks, slabs, stairs, fences, gates, doors and trapdoors. There are also quarter logs for round 2×2 trunks, elbow logs and the thin sakura log.

🌳 21 trees, 13 saplings

Every original tree generator has been ported:

• giant redwoods and huge firs grown from 2×2 saplings;
• bald cypresses with knees, rooted in shallow water;
• rainbow eucalyptus;
• autumn trees in 4 colours;
• cypress, Japanese maple, sakura, whitebark acacia and more.

🌸 Plants, blocks and items

• 37 flowers, each giving its vanilla dye;
• 5 grasses, eelgrass, gloriosa and strawberries;
• red rock: stone, cobblestone, bricks, slabs, stairs and wall;
• cracked sand and quicksand;
• the Log Turner (it fires an API event for other mods) and the Scarecrow, which scares nearby mobs;
• chocolate, chocolate strawberry and cactus paste.

⚙️ Configuration and compatibility

• Biomes are placed with TerraBlender.
• Per-biome settings: enabled, weight and villages.
• Per-biome decoration settings, plus a global ECB / vanilla ratio.
• An optional /ecb command for operators (spawntree, killtree, lastseed…).
• Common c: tags everywhere, for modpack compatibility.
• Fully translated in English and French.

Install on both client and server. The biomes only appear in newly generated chunks.
