Only display what’s on your menu!
Love decorating with all the lovely dishes from Display Delight, but wish your menus only showed food you actually have? À La Carte tidies up unavailable food decorations, leaving more room for the delicious little details that belong in your world.
🧁 A Menu Made Just for You!
À La Carte checks which original foods are available and automatically hides unsupported Display Delight decorations from the Creative inventory and Creative search.
With Just Enough Items (JEI) installed, unavailable decorations are also filtered from supported JEI ingredient browsing. Your decorating choices stay focused on the food you can actually enjoy!
🍞 Even Traders Follow the Menu!
Wandering Traders choose decorations from available food options instead of offering dishes whose original items are missing. Existing trader offers can also be filtered when you interact with a trader.
The addon also helps prevent normal placement of unsupported decorative food blocks, while keeping available foods and empty plates untouched.
🏡 Your Cozy Creations Stay Yours!
Already built the perfect kitchen or stocked a chest with decorations? No worries! À La Carte does not unregister blocks, erase existing builds, or delete stored items.
Display Delight’s recipes, textures, original food items, and plate mechanics remain unchanged. This is a gentle menu cleanup, not a world reset.

À La Carte is made for Minecraft 1.20.1 • Fabric • Java 17 and uses these two required companion mods:
Farmer’s Delight Refabricated • Display Delight Fabric
All additional food addons are optional. JEI is optional too! Install À La Carte on both the client and server for its complete inventory and trader filtering behavior.
✨ A Few Little Details!
Version 1.0.0 targets Display Delight Fabric 1.6.3 on Minecraft 1.20.1. Dedicated EMI and REI integrations are not included, and administrator commands or external world editing tools may still access registered decorations.
À La Carte is an independent compatibility addon, not an official part of Display Delight. Full credit to cargocats and Display Delight Fabric for the original food display experience.
