Bring your favorite Farmer’s Delight and Let’s Do cooking mods together! Let’s Do Delight is a compatibility addon that connects ingredients, recipes, kitchen equipment, and food preparation systems so everything works more naturally alongside one another.

Spend less time managing duplicate ingredients and more time cooking delicious meals, experimenting with recipes, and creating the cozy kitchen of your dreams. All while preserving the unique foods, equipment, and mechanics that make each mod special!

🧅 Interchangeable Ingredients

Why keep separate stacks of ingredients that serve the same purpose? Let’s Do Delight allows carefully selected equivalent ingredients from supported mods to work interchangeably in compatible recipes.

Vegetables & Grains: Onions, tomatoes, potato slices, raw pasta, compatible breads, and standard dough.
Meats & Seafood: Minced beef, bacon, chicken cuts, raw cod and salmon, cooked fish, and their compatible sliced varieties.
Drinks & Essentials: Coffee beans, milk, water, and other supported cooking ingredients.

The addon recognizes compatible alternatives where appropriate without making every similar-looking ingredient identical. Specialized ingredients, unique foods, and original recipes retain their intended identities.

💧 Smarter Water, Milk & Dough

Cooking should not become a guessing game over which container your ingredients came in! Supported recipes can recognize equivalent water and milk ingredients, including appropriate bucket and bottle alternatives.

Wheat Dough compatibility is improved so supported crafting recipes can use Water Buckets or Water Bottles as appropriate. Milk compatibility also extends across supported food preparation recipes, reducing the need to keep different milk ingredients for nearly identical purposes.

Water Bottle compatibility is carefully validated so actual water is accepted without mistakenly treating ordinary potions as cooking water.

Farmer’s Delight Cooking Pot: Prepare supported Let’s Do recipes with improved ingredient recognition.
Farm & Charm Stove & Roaster: Better ingredient handling and reliable batch cooking while maintaining original inventory-slot positions.
Farm & Charm Mixing Bowl: Improved water and milk compatibility for supported preparations, including mozzarella.
Herbal Brews Tea Kettle: Improved ingredient handling for supported recipes.

Compatible heat sources, cutting-board preparations, kitchen tools, and specialty cooking interactions are also supported where appropriate. Recipes keep their original outputs, requirements, and intended cooking processes.

🍶 Proper Container Returns

No more mysteriously disappearing bottles! Supported recipes now handle empty container returns more reliably when bottled ingredients are consumed.

For example, Barley Soup prepared in the Farmer’s Delight Cooking Pot can correctly consume Water Bottles and return empty Glass Bottles. Farm & Charm Mixing Bowl recipes, including mozzarella preparation, also return the appropriate empty bottles when using compatible Milk Bottles and Water Bottles.

Recipes that consume multiple bottles can return the corresponding containers, helping preserve resources while keeping cooking convenient.

☕ Coffee & Specialty Ingredients

Coffee lovers can enjoy more freedom in their kitchens! Coffee beans from Let’s Do Herbal Brews and Farmer’s Respite are interchangeable in supported brewing and crafting recipes.

This includes compatible Herbal Brews coffee preparations and Brown Dye crafting. Selected specialty foods, ingredients, and preparations across supported cooking mods also benefit from improved compatibility.

📖 Recipe Book & JEI Integration

Find, prepare, and repeat your favorite recipes with less frustration! Let’s Do Delight works with existing recipe systems rather than replacing them.

The Farmer’s Delight Cooking Pot benefits from improved recipe-book integration, including automatic Water Bottle selection and insertion for supported recipes. Compatible recipes remain discoverable through JEI, with improved recipe-transfer behavior and ingredient matching.

The original recipe outputs and distinct food items remain available, while compatible ingredient alternatives make preparation more flexible. Polymorph is optional and recommended for modpacks containing recipes with conflicting inputs.

Let’s Do Delight has received continued performance and stability improvements, including optimized recipe-book processing, more efficient ingredient and registry lookups, and reduced unnecessary diagnostic work during normal gameplay.

Recent updates also address cooking interface crashes, recipe compatibility issues, incorrect ingredient consumption, missing bottle returns, and Minecraft 1.20.1 compatibility problems.

Let’s Do Delight is designed to complement the original cooking mods, not replace or overhaul them. Compatibility is deliberately selective to preserve specialized foods, ingredient identities, recipes, and progression.

Existing food properties, including hunger, saturation, and effects, remain unchanged. Supported optional integrations activate when their corresponding mods are installed, and ordinary gameplay requires no additional configuration.

Individual integrations depend on the mods installed and the recipes they provide. Not every listed mod is required, and not every recipe is cross-compatible. Install the appropriate Minecraft 1.20.1 Fabric versions along with their own dependencies.
