Made with love, sweat and tears
Fabric only
Beach Craft brings the open-sea survival of the game Raft into Minecraft.
Build a driftwood portal, step through, and you stand on a tiny platform above an endless ocean.
Fish your raft together from the debris, then sail to palm islands, dive down to coral reefs and drowned cities,
and follow the logs of a lost expedition to a sealed sanctum at the bottom of the sea.
Minecraft 26.3, Fabric, needs Fabric API.
New in 3.0 “Tides of the Deep”: 12 biomes, 19 kinds of places to explore, a story with a final boss, 12 new creatures, the Expedition Raft, diving gear, more than 140 new building and decoration blocks and an in-game guide book.

The way to the sea starts in the overworld.
Find some ancient treasure, build a driftwood portal and light it.
- Find Ancient Broken Rings in shipwreck treasure, buried treasure and ocean ruins, or fish them up. Smelt them into Ancient Energy.
- Shipwreck treasure also holds Ancient Crystals. Ancient Energy, an Ancient Crystal and a stick make the Energy Staff.
- Short, dark driftwood stumps without leaves stand on sandy beaches. Four driftwood logs around one Ancient Energy make 4 Portal Frames.
- Build the frame like a nether portal and light it with the staff. You arrive on a driftwood platform high above the waves, with a portal back home.
- Open the castaway’s chest on the platform and read the Seafarer’s Almanac. The Expedition Journal from the chest always knows where to go next.
Once you have titanium, the Raft Dimension Teleporter takes you to the sea and back without a portal.
Recipes and where to find the ancient items:
- Ancient Energy: smelt or blast an Ancient Broken Ring.
- Energy Staff: Ancient Energy on top, Ancient Crystal in the middle, stick at the bottom. 64 uses.
- Driftwood Portal Frame (gives 4): Ancient Energy in the center, one driftwood log on each side.
- Raft Dimension Teleporter: 5 titanium ingots and 2 Ancient Energy (ingot on top, energy – ingot – energy in the middle, 3 ingots at the bottom). 64 uses. Use it in the raft dimension to go back to the overworld.
- Ancient Broken Ring: shipwreck treasure (60%, 1-2), buried treasure (80%, 1-3), ocean ruins (30%) and fishing treasure (25%).
- Ancient Crystal: shipwreck treasure (50%, 1-5).
- The frame needs an empty space of at least 2×3 inside. A broken return portal on the raft side can be lit again with the staff.
- Driftwood stumps grow on overworld beaches. A driftwood sapling from the ocean loot grows a new stump on sand.
- The castaway’s chest waits on every new arrival platform: a note from the expedition’s captain, the Expedition Journal, the Seafarer’s Almanac, a chart to the first place of the story, a Paddle, a Plastic Hook, rope, bread, fresh water and a few useful extras.
- You also get a Seafarer’s Almanac the first time you enter the Endless Sea. Lost it? A book and kelp, dried kelp, a driftwood log or driftwood planks make a new one.

The Endless Sea is an archipelago now: open water, sandy islands, glowing reefs and dark trenches far below.
Twelve biomes, each with its own water, plants and creatures.

- Islands: palm beaches with crabs and seagulls, jungle islands, muddy mangroves and volcanic isles with black sand and lava-filled craters.
- Shallows: coral reefs full of anemones, giant clams, starfish and sea urchins, and the rare Glowing Lagoon.
- The deep: kelp forests, a drowned shelf with the ruins of a city, wreck graveyards, icy floes and the pitch-dark Abyssal Trench.
- Gifts of the sea: pearls from Giant Clams, wild pineapples, seashells, sea glass, glow kelp, flowers for dye and new kinds of sand.
All 12 biomes:
- Endless Sea: deep blue open water with kelp and seagrass. Sharks, hammerheads, whales, jellyfish, squid and dolphins.
- Kelp Forest: very tall kelp and patches of glow kelp. Sea otters float on top, moray eels hide below.
- Coral Shallows: warm, clear reefs with coral, sea anemones, giant clams, starfish and sea urchins. Manta rays, turtles and tropical fish.
- Glowing Lagoon: rare, dim shallows full of glow kelp, glowing anemones and tube worms. Glow jellyfish and glow squid.
- Drowned Shelf: a flat, murky sea floor covered in concrete rubble and rusty bars. Drowned and drowned corsairs.
- Abyssal Trench: the deepest and darkest water, with tube worms, bubble vents and anglerfish.
- Wreck Graveyard: foggy water full of wrecks, sharks and drowned corsairs.
- Frost Floes: cold sea with icebergs and ice floes. Penguins, polar bears and now and then a whale.
- Palm Isle: sandy beaches with palms, seashells, sea glass, beach grass, flowers and pineapple bushes. Crabs and seagulls.
- Jungle Isle: jungle trees, bamboo, vines, ferns, pineapples and melons. Parrots, ocelots and crabs.
- Mangrove Isle: low, muddy islands with mangroves and lily pads. Frogs, crabs and the odd slime.
- Volcanic Isle: black sand, ash, pumice, basalt columns, magma and lava lakes in the craters. Guarded by ember crabs.
- The islands and the sea floor hold the usual ores. Titanium still waits deep below.
Natural blocks and items:
- Shell Sand, Black Sand, Volcanic Ash and Pumice. Four sand and a seashell make 4 Shell Sand. Black Sand smelts into tinted glass.
- Beach Grass, Sea Oats, Tropical Fern, Hibiscus (red dye) and Bird of Paradise (orange dye).
- Pineapple Bush: use it when the fruit is golden, and it grows new fruit. Craft a pineapple into a Pineapple Crown and plant it on farmland or a Crop Plot to grow your own pineapples.
- Glow Kelp (light 8), Sea Anemones in red, purple and glowing (light 10) and Tube Worms (light 6) light up the deep.
- Giant Clam: it opens and closes. Use an open clam to take its Pearl. A new pearl grows in time.
- Starfish in orange, purple and red, Barnacles and Sea Urchins. Urchins hurt to touch and drop Urchin Spines.
- Bubble Vent: makes a bubble column above it. Divers refill their tanks in it. Craft one from 4 basalt around soul sand.
- Seashells and Sea Glass lie on the beaches. A seashell makes bone meal, four sea glass shards make sea glass.

Long before you, an expedition came to the Endless Sea. Then the sea rose.
Their logs, letters and old radios are still out there, and they show you the way.

“…the light on the rocky isle still burns. Keeper Fenn, if you hear this: thank you…”
- A castaway’s chest waits on your arrival platform, with a note from the captain of the lost expedition and a chart to the first place.
- Every story place holds a chart to the next one: an old lighthouse, a village on stilts, a research station on the sea floor, a drowned city, a forge in a volcano, a temple on the reef … and at the very end a sealed sanctum deep in the trench.
- Expedition Journal: use it to read your current goal and a hint. It follows your progress by itself.
- Clues everywhere: logbooks and letters in the chests, Research Terminals, crackling Expedition Radios and Messages in a Bottle drifting on the sea.
- Side story: the pirate captain “Saltjaw” Brannigan hid his gold somewhere. His crew still guards it.
How the story works (no spoilers):
- The Expedition Journal is in the castaway chest. You can also craft one from a book, a compass and paper.
- Lost your chart? Sneak and use the journal at sea and it draws a fresh chart to your current goal, once every 5 minutes.
- Read the books in the story chests: they tell what happened here, one place after the other.
- Research Terminals show the logs of the expedition’s scientists. Expedition Radios crackle with old broadcasts that hint at places.
- Messages in a Bottle and Supply Barrels drift past your raft now and then. Use them to open them.
- Story items are too precious to lose: dropped on the ground, they never despawn.
- The story leads you deep below the waves. Build a good raft, and wear a Diving Helmet and a tank before you dive deep.
- The new Tides of the Deep advancement tab follows your way through the story.
The story places in order (spoilers!):
- The Castaway: your arrival platform and the castaway’s chest.
- Keeper of the Light: the Old Lighthouse on a rocky isle.

The sea is full of life now. Twelve new creatures live on the shores and in the water.
Most of them are friendly. A few bite back.

- Bruce the shark is back with a new look, and he goes after your raft: he circles rafts that people stand on and bites through the edge foundations. Use Reinforced Foundations on the edges.
- In the sea: Hammerhead Shark, Whale, Manta Ray, Jellyfish (moon, crimson and glow), Anglerfish and Moray Eel.
- On the shores: Crab, Ember Crab, Seagull, Penguin, Sea Otter and the Drowned Corsair.
- Seagulls peck at your crops and steal food, sea otters bring you pearls, jellyfish sting, and anglerfish lurk in the dark.
Every creature:
- Bruce the Shark (13 hearts): lives in the upper water of the raft ocean (never on Peaceful) and hunts anyone who swims there. Climb onto your raft and you are safe, but your raft is not: every 15 to 45 seconds he bites an edge foundation, and after 4 bites it breaks. Reinforced Foundations are never bitten, and a hit scares him away for a while. Drops Raw Shark Meat and Shark Teeth.
- Hammerhead Shark (20 hearts): a bigger, tougher shark of the deep open sea. It hunts swimmers and bites rafts too. Drops Shark Teeth and Raw Shark Meat.
- Whale: a huge, gentle giant. It cruises below the surface, comes up to breathe and spout, and sings now and then. It drops nothing: it is a friend.
- Manta Ray: glides through the warm shallows in slow, wide loops and sometimes leaps out of the water. May drop leather.
- Jellyfish: drifts with the current. Moon jellies are white, crimson ones red, glow jellies light up the dark lagoons. Touching one gives Poison for 3 seconds, unless you wear a Wetsuit. Drops Jelly Blobs or Glow Jelly.
- Anglerfish: hides in the dark of the Abyssal Trench with its glowing lure, creeps closer and then darts forward to bite. Drops an Angler Lure.
- Moray Eel: hides in holes of reefs and ruins. Swim within 4 blocks and it lunges at you. Drops Eel Fillets.
- Crab: red, blue or sand-coloured. Scuttles sideways along the beach, digs into the sand when you sprint close and pinches back when hit. Breeds with kelp. Drops Crab Claws and sometimes a seashell.
- Ember Crab: lives on the volcanic isles. Up close it attacks and sets you on fire. Fire and lava do not bother it. Drops Crab Claws and Ember Shells.
- Seagull: flies in flocks over islands and rafts. It pecks at crops and sets them back one stage unless a Scarecrow stands within 16 blocks, and it snatches food lying on the ground. Drops feathers.
- Penguin: waddles over the frost floes, slides on its belly and dives for fish. Feed penguins cod and they have chicks. Drops feathers.
- Sea Otter: floats on its back in the kelp forests and cracks shells with a stone. Feed it a seashell and it follows you for a while and now and then brings you a pearl or a seashell.
- Drowned Corsair: a cursed undead pirate of Saltjaw’s crew. It swims like a drowned, does not burn in the sun, fights with a cutlass and even climbs onto rafts. Drops gold coins, bones and sometimes its Cutlass.
- All spawn eggs are in the new Creatures tab.
Creature drops, food and recipes:
- Raw Shark Meat can give you Hunger. Cooked (furnace, smoker, campfire or Simple Grill) it fills 4 drumsticks. Shark Jaw Trophy: 3 planks on top of 3 shark teeth.
- Crab Claw and Raw Eel Fillet: cook them in a furnace, smoker or on a campfire. Cooked, each fills 3 drumsticks.
- Jelly Blob: two make a slime ball. Glow Jelly: makes a glow ink sac, or a Jelly Lamp with glass and an iron nugget.
- Angler Lure: four prismarine shards around it make a sea lantern. Crafted with a Diving Helmet, it becomes a Helmet Lamp.
- Ember Shell: a warm shell from the volcanic isles, for your collection.
- Cutlass: two iron ingots and teak planks. 6 damage, and faster than an iron sword.
- Gold Coin: nine coins make a Gold Coin Pile, and a pile crafts back into 9 coins.

The Expedition Raft: a real ship of a raft, with room for four and a hold for your loot.
Add a sail, an engine, an anchor, a cargo crate and lanterns, and every upgrade shows on deck.

- Expedition Raft: a 3×3 raft with four seats and 27 storage slots. It never sinks, never tips over, and sharks cannot hurt it. Friends standing on the deck ride along.
- Upgrades: Raft Sail (50% faster), Raft Engine (more than twice as fast, burns furnace fuel), Raft Anchor, Raft Cargo Crate (27 more slots) and Raft Lanterns.
- Small boats: the Palm Boat and the Driftwood Raft, each also with a chest.
Sailing details and recipes:
- Expedition Raft: rope – paddle – rope on top of 6 Raft Foundations.
- The first one to board sits at the helm and steers. Sneak and use the raft to open its storage and the raft menu.
- To pick it up, hit it 3 times within 2 seconds, or once while sneaking. It drops as an item and keeps its upgrades. The cargo drops next to it.
- Use an upgrade item on the raft to add it. A bare Expedition Raft is a little slower than a boat. With sail and engine it is more than twice as fast as a boat.
- Raft Sail: rope – sail canvas – rope, sail canvas – palm log – sail canvas, palm log at the bottom.
- Raft Engine: scrap metal – circuit board – scrap metal, titanium ingot – furnace – titanium ingot, titanium ingot at the bottom. It burns furnace fuel from the fuel slot in the raft menu while you drive.
- Raft Anchor: rope on top of an iron ingot, 3 iron ingots at the bottom. Drop or raise it with the lever in the raft menu.
- Raft Cargo Crate: a chest and rope in a ring of planks.
- Raft Lanterns: lantern – rope – lantern on top of 4 sticks.
- Palm Boat and Driftwood Raft: 5 palm or driftwood planks in a boat shape. Add a chest for the chest versions.
- The Paddle gives any boat a push forward.

Put on a brass helmet, strap on a tank and dive.
Reefs, wrecks and a whole drowned city wait below the surface.

- Diving Helmet: see much farther under water. With a tank you breathe from the tank.
- Oxygen Tank: 2 minutes of air. The Titanium Oxygen Tank holds 6 minutes and protects like an iron chestplate.
- Wetsuit: mine three times faster under water, and jellyfish cannot sting you. Flippers: swim much faster.
- Full set: helmet, tank, wetsuit and flippers together give Dolphin’s Grace while swimming.
- Helmet Lamp: craft the helmet with an Angler Lure to see in the dark deep sea and the trench.
- Air Compressor, Harpoon Gun and Sea Scooter for longer and faster dives.
Diving details and recipes:
- A tank only works together with the helmet. The bar on the tank and a gauge on the screen show how much air is left.
- The tank refills when your head is above the water, or in a bubble column: a normal tank is full again in 3 seconds. Bubble Vents and soul sand make bubble columns.
- Air Compressor: put a tank in its slot and it fills it with FE from a cable, battery, solar panel or wind turbine next to it. No power? Sneak and use it with an empty hand, or press the crank in its menu: each turn adds 5 seconds of air. It also charges the Sea Scooter.
- Harpoon Gun: shoots Harpoons from your inventory, 8 damage under water and 4 in the air, one shot per second. Pick the harpoons up again after the hunt.
- Sea Scooter: hold use under water and it pulls you where you look. Its battery holds 3,000 FE, about 75 seconds of riding.
- Flippers make you walk 25% slower on land.
- Diving Helmet: 2 gold ingots and 6 copper ingots around a glass pane. Helmet Lamp: a Diving Helmet and an Angler Lure (damage and enchantments are kept).
- Oxygen Tank: 6 iron ingots on the sides, with a copper ingot, a bucket and leather down the middle. Titanium Oxygen Tank: titanium ingots and a copper ingot around an Oxygen Tank.
- Wetsuit: leather and dried kelp in a leggings shape. Flippers: 2 leather on top of 2 plastic.
- Air Compressor: iron, a piston, copper, a bucket and a circuit board. Harpoon Gun: iron ingots, a piston, a copper ingot and planks. Sea Scooter: plastic, iron, redstone, a circuit board and a glass pane.
- Harpoons: iron ingot, stick and string in a column make 4. An Urchin Spine, a stick and string make 2.

Everything in Beach Craft, in one waterproof leather book.
Fourteen chapters, from your first day on the raft to the creatures of the deep.

- Chapters: Welcome Aboard, The Portal, Raft Survival, Building, Technology, Sailing, Diving, The Sea’s Biomes, Islands & Wrecks, Creatures (a page for every creature), The Story, the final fight, Titanium & Tools and Tips.
- You get one the first time you enter the Endless Sea and another in the castaway’s chest. A book and kelp or driftwood make a new one.
- The chapter about the final fight starts with a spoiler warning. Once you have won the fight, it opens by itself.

Out at sea you need a floor under your feet, clean water and a warm meal.
Almost everything here is made from what the ocean brings you.

- Ocean debris: the current carries planks, palm leaves, plastic and scrap metal past you from the west, and now and then some lost loot, a Message in a Bottle or a Supply Barrel.
- Plastic Hook: hold right-click to pull floating items towards you. Item Catcher: put it in the water and it catches the debris that floats into it.
- Raft Foundations: planks bound with rope. Reinforced Foundations add scrap metal, and sharks cannot bite them.
- Water Purifier: turns water bottles into Fresh Water. Simple Grill: cooks two foods at once, 50% faster than a campfire.
- Crop Plot: farmland that is always watered and never trampled, with faster growth. Scarecrow: keeps monsters, trampling and seagulls away.
- Coconuts from palm leaves, Coconut Milk, the Piña Colada and pineapples from the islands.
What drifts past and what the catcher finds:
- Every 10 seconds, 1 or 2 pieces of debris appear 20 to 40 blocks west of you and float east with the current. Up to 16 pieces drift around each player.
- Most debris is driftwood planks, palm leaves, plastic or scrap metal.
- About 6% of the debris is lost loot: coconuts, cooked cod, glass bottles, string, rope, iron nuggets, coal, palm and driftwood saplings, titanium nuggets or a circuit board. Rarely a Message in a Bottle or a Supply Barrel floats by.
- The Plastic Hook reaches 12 blocks in the direction you look.
- The Item Catcher holds one kind of item at a time, so empty it often. Hoppers can take the catch out.
- With an Item Catcher Net inside, a catcher in the raft ocean fishes up Unrefined Ocean Garbage about every 30 seconds. A net lasts 32 catches.
- Smelt the garbage into a Trash Cube and right-click it for 1 to 3 random items: fish, kelp, sticks, nuggets, plastic, slime balls, a bucket, and with some luck a diamond or an emerald.
How the survival blocks work:
- Water Purifier: water bottle or water bucket in the top slot, fuel (planks, logs, coal or charcoal) in the fuel slot. A bottle takes 10 seconds, a bucket 20 seconds and gives three bottles. Hoppers work.
- Simple Grill: right-click it with fuel (planks, logs, coal or charcoal), then with raw food. It holds two foods and drops them when they are cooked. Right-click with an empty hand to take the last food back.
- Crop Plot: never dries out and never turns back into dirt. On every random tick the crop on it has a 50% chance of an extra growth step, so crops grow about 50% faster.
- Scarecrow: no hostile mob spawns within 24 blocks, no trampled farmland within 8 (normal farmland too), and seagulls leave crops within 16 blocks alone.
- Coconut: right-click palm leaves that carry a coconut to pick it. It fills 3 drumsticks, and the leaves grow a new one after about 20 minutes.
- Fresh Water: fills one drumstick and gives the bottle back. Coconut Milk: Regeneration I for 5 seconds.
- Piña Colada: fills 4.5 drumsticks and gives Speed for 2:30, a short Regeneration and a moment of Nausea. You get the bowl back.
Survival recipes:
- Rope: 2 palm leaves on top of each other, or 3 string in a column for 2 rope.
- Rope Coil: 4 rope (2×2). It crafts back into 4 rope.
- Rope Ladder (gives 6): rope – stick – rope in all three rows.
- Raft Foundation (gives 4): 7 planks, with rope in the top middle and the bottom middle.
- Reinforced Foundation: a Raft Foundation and 2 scrap metal.
- Water Purifier: 5 plastic around a glass bottle, 3 scrap metal at the bottom.
- Simple Grill: 3 scrap metal on top, 2 sticks as legs below.
- Crop Plot (gives 3): 3 dirt on top of 3 planks.

- Coconut Milk: a coconut and a glass bottle.
- Piña Colada: sugar, coconut and bowl in a column.
- Plastic Hook: 2 plastic on top, plastic and rope below, a stick at the bottom right.
- Item Catcher: 8 driftwood logs in a ring. Item Catcher Net: 7 string in an H shape.
Raft building blocks and their recipes:
- Driftwood and palm wood: log, wood, stripped log and wood, planks, stairs, slab, fence, fence gate, door, trapdoor, button, pressure plate and sapling. Palm wood also has leaves. Both woods burn in furnaces and catch fire like oak. Leaves and saplings go into the composter.
- Palm Thatch (gives 3): 4 palm leaves (2×2). Also as stairs and slab.
- Sail Canvas (gives 2): 2 rope on top of 2 white wool. Add red dye for Red Striped Sail Canvas.
- Raft Flag (gives 2): red striped sail canvas on top of 2 sticks.
- Ship Wheel: sticks in the corners, planks on the sides, scrap metal in the middle.
- Coconut Lantern: rope, coconut and torch in a column.

- Titanium Grates: 5 titanium ingots in an X.
- Titanium Block and Raw Titanium Block: 9 ingots or 9 raw titanium.
- Shark Jaw Trophy: 3 planks on top of 3 shark teeth.

The sea has its own small tech line.
It uses the Team Reborn Energy API, so machines from mods like Tech Reborn can connect.
- Makeshift Solar Panel: 10 FE per tick. At sea the sun always shines. Wind Turbine: 20 FE per tick.
- Makeshift Battery: stores 1,000,000 FE. Copper and Titanium Cables connect it all.
- Quarry: mines an 11×11 hole down to the bottom of the world, then drains it and turns any water or lava around the pit into glass.
- Chunk Destroyer: mines the whole chunk it stands in.
- Brick and Titanium Furnaces: a faster Brick Furnace (1.5x) and a very fast Titanium Furnace (32x).
- Air Compressor: fills oxygen tanks and charges the Sea Scooter.
Machine numbers:
- Makeshift Solar Panel: 10 FE per tick when it sees the sky. In the overworld only by day, in the raft dimension always. Stores 100,000 FE. Right-click shows the stored energy.
- Wind Turbine: 20 FE per tick when the 3×3 space in front of its rotor is free and it stands above Y 90. It pushes its energy into storages next to it.
- Makeshift Battery: 1,000,000 FE, up to 10,000 FE per tick in and out.
- Copper Cable: 128 FE per tick. Titanium Cable: 512 FE per tick.
- Quarry: 1,000 FE per block. Put a chest on top and the drops go into it. It saves its progress, and a right-click shows its energy and mining position.
- Chunk Destroyer: 100,000 FE per column. A chest on top collects the drops, and it also drains its pit and turns any water or lava around it into glass.
- Brick Furnace: 1.5x speed, 1.5x fuel use.

Tools for a big sea:
find your way, find titanium and find the treasure below the waves.
- Receiver: right-click to see the direction and distance to the nearest floating driftwood.
- Paddle: right-click in a boat for a push forward.
- Metal Detector: right-click the ground and it tells you at which height the first titanium ore below is.
- Titanium: ore deep under the sea floor (diamond pickaxe). A full set of titanium armor gives Water Breathing, Dolphin’s Grace and Conduit Power.
- Music: three ocean music discs hide in shipwreck treasure.
Explore details and recipes:
- Receiver: shows the compass direction, the degrees and the distance in blocks. Recipe: titanium nugget on top, scrap metal – circuit board – scrap metal in the middle, 3 scrap metal at the bottom.
- Paddle: one push every 1.5 seconds. Recipe: 4 planks (2×2, top right) and a stick at the bottom left.
- Metal Detector: checks the column straight below the block you click. Recipe: titanium ingot – circuit board – titanium ingot on top, an ingot in the middle, 3 ingots at the bottom.
- Titanium Ore and Deepslate Titanium Ore only generate in the raft dimension, below Y 20. Smelt or blast the raw titanium. 9 nuggets make an ingot, 9 ingots make a block.
- Titanium Armor: the usual armor shapes with titanium ingots, repaired with titanium ingots. The set effects end a few seconds after you take a piece off.
- Music Discs: Some Game Music, Lofi Beat and Crystal Castles by Seth Makes Sounds (CC0). Each one has a 10% chance in a shipwreck treasure chest.

At the end of the story, something very old and very big is waiting deep in the trench.
Open the spoiler only if you want to know what it is.
The final boss (big spoiler):

- The Leviathan: a colossal sea serpent with 600 health and thick scales. It sleeps in the pool of the Abyssal Sanctum. Gather the four Tide Sigils, forge the Tidewarden Key at the altar of the Coral Temple, open the Tide Seal of the sanctum and use the key on the Leviathan Altar at the pool’s edge. Fight on the stone ring.
- Circling deep in the pool, it cannot be hurt.
- It rises and spits brine bolts: 5 damage and Slowness.
- It leaps across the ring and slams down: 8 damage around it. Then it lies stranded for 4 seconds and takes 50% more damage. Strike now!
- Below half health it roars, pushes you back and calls Tidelings (5 hearts, 3 damage per bite), and it stirs a whirlpool that pulls you towards the pool.
- Below a quarter of its health it gets faster and chains its attacks.
- Heart of the Tide: place it, and every swimmer within 32 blocks gets Conduit Power and Dolphin’s Grace.
- Leviathan Scales, a Leviathan Trophy and 500 experience.
- Tidebreaker: 4 scales, a titanium ingot and a trident. 9 damage, +50% against sea creatures. Hold use in water or rain to surge ahead.
- To fight again, bring the key and an Ancient Crystal to the altar, so your friends get their turn too.
New in 3.0.0 – Tides of the Deep
The biggest update Beach Craft has ever had: a whole ocean world, a story, a boss, sailing and diving.
The full list is in the changelog of 3.0.0.
Good to know:
- Existing worlds: chunks of the raft dimension that you have already explored keep their old terrain. New chunks are made with the new world, so sail a bit farther out (or start a new world) to see the islands, reefs and story places. Where old and new chunks meet, the terrain has a hard edge.
- The castaway’s chest only appears on new arrival platforms. Already have a platform? Craft an Expedition Journal (book, compass and paper), then sneak and use it at sea for a chart to the first story place. Your Seafarer’s Almanac arrives the next time you enter the Endless Sea.
- The raft dimension now has light like the overworld: the sun still never sets, but deep water, caves and rooms are dark. Bring lights, or a Helmet Lamp.
- /gamerule raft:shark_bites false stops sharks from biting rafts. They still circle rafts and still hunt swimmers.
- The textures of the 2.0 blocks and items were reworked: wood, foundations, sail canvas, the machines, titanium and many items.
- Sharks and other sea monsters no longer stop you from sleeping.
- Needs Minecraft 26.3, Fabric Loader 0.19.5 or newer and Fabric API. Team Reborn Energy is included.
Beach Craft is part of the Dreamcraft modpack, where a whole quest chapter guides you across the Endless Sea.
