# AIT: Torchwood Additions

**An addon for [Adventures in Time](https://modrinth.com/mod/ait)** that fills your TARDIS with more to choose from and gives it somewhere new to go: new exteriors and desktops, sonic casings, atrium fuel, a whole new dimension to explore, Rift gear, guns, chairs and over 180 roundel blocks to build with.

## 🌿 The Wilds

A new dimension, reached by TARDIS — it’s in the console’s dimension list like any other. Its biomes are huge:

– **Wild Jungle** — dense jungle where Torchwood trees grow
– **Great Desert** — a vast sea of sand and sandstone
– **The Mire** — a misty mangrove bog of mud and murky water

Deep underground, the Wilds hide **Rift Ore** — found nowhere else.

## 💎 Rift gear

Mine Rift Ore with a diamond pickaxe for **Rift Shards**, then craft **Rift tools** (sword, pickaxe, axe, shovel, hoe) and **Rift armour** — they mine like diamond, protect a little less, and take enchantments more easily.

## 🔫 Guns

Three new guns built on AIT’s gun system — load them with AIT’s Staser Bolt Magazine and aim down sights with right-click:

## 🚪 Exteriors

Brand-new TARDIS shapes, each with its own interior door and opening doors:

– **Police Box** — 10 paint jobs, including Bad Wolf, Coral, Dino, Gamble Box, Rhamnous and Tokomak
– **Blueberry Box** — a double-doored police box, sized to match AIT’s
– **K2 Phone Booth** — 7 finishes · **K6 Phone Booth** — 5 finishes
– **The Onion** — 9 colours. Its door is a beam that appears when it opens (with a *bloop*), and it always travels with its own takeoff and landing animations

Plus **29 extra looks** for AIT’s own exteriors, including the Torchwood, Rift and Desert police boxes, Harmony, Zen, Toywardian, Memory Box, Atrium Box, TARDIM, DO7 and Glasgow.

## 🏛️ Desktops

**23 interiors**, including the new **Torchwood Hub** and **Wilds Lodge**: Blueberry, Classic Mystical, Classic Neon, Copper, Fugitive, Lady Liberty, McGann, Medieval, Missy, Mystical, Pride, Ravencrest, Rosewood, Second, Third, Skra TARDIS, Trenzalore Missy, Tribute, Wooden and more.

## 🔧 Sonic casings

**12 new casings** for AIT’s sonic: Hedgehog, Sonic Hammer, Copper Cane, Umbrella, War Master, Blunt, classic Pertwee, Baker, Davison, McGann and War Doctor sonics, and an Aperture portal gun.

## ⚡ Atrium

An Overworld ore that fuels your TARDIS. Craft **Atrium Fuel** (+5,000 artron), **Energized Atrium** (+15,000) or an **Atrium Core** (fills the tank) and right-click your console to refuel.

## 🧱 Building

– **Torchwood** — a full dark-red wood set: logs, planks, stairs, slabs, fences, gates, doors, trapdoors, buttons, pressure plates, leaves and saplings
– **Chairs** in every wood — right-click to sit
– **44 roundel styles**, each as a full roundel, half roundel, stairs and slab (over 180 blocks)
– **Grates** and grate trapdoors, plain and rusty, and a **Hartnell Wall**

## 🎨 Extras

– Four built-in GUI packs for AIT’s screens — **Blue Shift**, **Red Shift**, **Greyed** and **LeBron James** (Options → Resource Packs)
– Type 70 takeoff, landing and flight sounds, and police box door sounds
– Two creative tabs: **ATA: Blocks** and **ATA: Items & Gear**

## 🌍 Works with Gallifrey

With **[Gallifrey](https://github.com/Cerulix-Team/Gallifrey)** installed too, the two mods share atrium (either works in either mod’s recipes and refuels consoles, and they can be swapped one-for-one) and all 25 of Gallifrey’s sonic casings appear on AIT’s sonic. Nothing to set up.

## ❓ FAQ

**Does it work without AIT?** No — it’s an addon, and needs Adventures in Time.

**How do I get to the Wilds?** Fly your TARDIS there — pick it with the dimension control on the console.

**Forge / NeoForge / other versions?** Fabric 1.20.1 only, the same as AIT.

**Can I use it in a modpack?** Yes.
