Features:

• expanded progression system (flint, copper, steel & blaze gold tier),

This datapack is highly configurable! Almost any feature you don’t like can be disabled.

Game design

While the player must overcome many new obstacles in the early game, they become easier to manage as the player progresses. The post ending experience remains mostly the same.

All obstacles introduced by the datapack can be easily managed in the late game. For example, hydration is essentially auto-managed when the player obtains a hydrating helmet.

Dev Note

This datapack is currently in Beta and the development has paused. It is playable but there some known bugs.

I am currently not working on this project due to UNI and other real life responsibilities, but it is not abandoned. As of November 2026 I still have the project in the back of my mind, but don’t have the time to work on it.

I plan to continue working on it some time around May 2027.

When the datapack is close to ready for a first release I’ll publish it on Planet Minecraft where people can leave their comments.

Optifine is required for the custom mob textures to load! (You can still play the datapack without Optifine, but the new mobs won’t have custom textures)
