DropNerf: Advanced Loot & Farm Control

Originally created as a simple tool to reduce mob drop rates, this mod has evolved into a powerful, highly optimized system for controlling your survival economy. If you are tired of players building giant AFK mob grinders, harvesting thousands of resources from spawners, or automating mob kills with machines, this mod solves the problem without punishing honest players.

Key Features

Server-Side Only: The mod only needs to be installed on the server. Players do not need to download it to join your server!

Global Loot Nerf: Reduce the drop chance of any item from hostile mobs to a specific percentage. Unique weapons from other mods (which generate in a mob’s hands) automatically receive a double drop penalty, keeping them as truly rare loot.

Fair Combat (Anti-Environment Farm): Loot only drops if the mob has taken damage from a living entity (a player, wolf, golem, or even a bullet from a gun mod) at least once. Dying from fall damage, entity cramming, or lava no longer yields free resources.

Machine Blocking (Anti-FakePlayer): Auto-killers, spikes, and machines from industrial mods will still function and kill mobs, but they will not generate any drops.

Chunk Fatigue: Protection against massive mob conveyors. If too many mobs of the same type die in a single chunk within a short time (configurable), that specific mob type will stop dropping loot until the timer expires. However, a randomly wandering zombie or creeper in the same chunk will still drop its rewards.

Spawner Penalty: Mobs spawned from a monster spawner block receive an additional, configurable drop chance penalty to discourage spawner farming.

Custom Rules: A detailed config allows you to set precise drop chances for specific items or entire mods (e.g., restore diamonds to a 100% drop rate or completely disable drops for a specific weapon).Each mod feature can be disabled

Boss Protection: An option to exclude bosses from the mod’s effects, ensuring your modpack’s progression remains intact.
