💀 Majestic Hostility

Gradual day-based difficulty scaling for the mobs of the Majestic ecosystem.

✨ Overview

Majestic Hostility makes the mobs of the Majestic ecosystem grow stronger as the world ages. Difficulty is driven by Minecraft’s own game days, so progression stays consistent whether you play single-player or on a server. All affected stats are configurable, scaling is applied in discrete steps, and bosses are included but with a separate, safer cap so they never become unkillable.

🎯 Features

📅 Day-Based Scaling

Every affected mob’s stats scale in discrete steps as in-game days pass. You configure the target day, the maximum improvement percentage and the step interval.

🐉 Affected Mobs

All mobs from the majestic_bestiary and majestic namespaces are affected automatically, including future additions. Bosses use a separate cap.

⚙️ Configurable Stats

Max health, attack damage, armor, movement speed, follow range and knockback resistance can each be tuned independently in config/majestic/hostility/config.toml.

🛡️ Boss Safety Limit

Bosses are scaled too, but with their own bossMaxDay, bossStepDays and bossMaxPercent so they never become unkillable.

💬 Chat Messages

Players receive a message on join with the current day and difficulty, and another whenever a new step is reached.

📚 Usage

1. Install the mod (and optionally Majestic Bestiary / Majestic).
2. Edit config/majestic/hostility/config.toml to taste.
3. Play: mobs scale automatically as days pass.
