Wildkin

Wildkin adds seven animals and monsters that fit into vanilla biomes, each with its own behaviour and drops.

Creatures

• Grizzly (taiga): leaves you alone until you hit it, then fights hard.
• Moose (taiga): roams in small herds and charges back when hurt.
• Capybara (swamps, jungles): calm and harmless.
• Snow Leopard (mountains): hunts goats, rabbits and sheep.
• Crocodile (swamps): lurks on the river bottom and goes for anything in the water.
• Raccoon (forests): feed it berries or eggs to tame it; it follows and sits on command.
• Scorpion (deserts, badlands): stings with poison, by day as well as night.

Gear

• Fur Cloak from bear fur: a warm chestplate.
• Scale Helmet from crocodile scales: three times the breath underwater.
• Pelt Boots from snow leopard pelts: walk on powder snow without freezing.
• Venom arrows from venom sacs, and venison to cook.

Details

• Every animal breeds with its favourite food.
• Spawns are added with NeoForge biome modifiers, so modded biomes with the usual tags get them too.

Requirements

• Minecraft 1.21.1, NeoForge 21.1 or newer
• Optional: JEI (recipe pages) and Patchouli (craft the in-game guide book)

Works on servers: install it on both the server and the clients.
