MobsBeGone — unofficial 1.20.1 backport

This is an unofficial Fabric backport of MobsBeGone by Okaeri Game Studio for Minecraft 1.20.1. It is maintained separately and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the original authors.

What it does

At server startup, the mod reads config/mobsbegone-blacklist.json. Registered entity IDs in this JSON list are prevented from spawning. It supports vanilla and modded entity types registered before the world starts.

The mod runs on the server, including an integrated singleplayer server. Players do not need to install it on their clients.

Install and configure

Install Fabric Loader and Fabric API for Minecraft 1.20.1, then put the JAR in the server’s mods folder. Edit config/mobsbegone-blacklist.json and restart the world or server after changing the list.
