Cape Provider — Unofficial Fabric Backport

This is an unofficial Fabric backport of Cape Provider to Minecraft 1.20.1, based on Cape Provider by litetex and its original contributors. The port is maintained by JustHari01 and is not an official upstream release or affiliated with the original authors.

Features

Ordered built-in cape providers and local or remote custom providers
Animated GIF and sprite cape textures, texture caching, and preview controls
Elytra texture options and provider metadata supplied by other mods
Integrations for OptiFine, Cosmetica, LabyMod, and MinecraftCapes

Compatibility and test status

Minecraft 1.20.1, Fabric Loader 0.16.14+, Fabric API 0.92.12+, Java 17+
Client-side only; Mod Menu is optional
The optional SkinShuffle compatibility hook is omitted because its target class is absent from the 1.20.1 SkinShuffle artifact
Built successfully and checked with a Fabric 1.20.1 development-client startup. Authenticated multiplayer cape rendering has not been tested.
