Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Is Extra Bows required?
Yes. Sagittarius is an add-on for Extra Bows and does not work without it.

Q: Does Sagittarius replace Extra Bows?
No. It is a separate add-on that works alongside Extra Bows and adds one extra bow.

Q: Which Minecraft version is supported?
Minecraft 1.12.2 with Forge.

Q: Does it need to be installed on the server?
Yes. Sagittarius must be installed on both the client and the server, together with Extra Bows. 

Q: How do I craft it?
With a shaped recipe: three gold ingots on top; in the middle, gold ingot, Emerald Bow, gold ingot; and three Nether Stars on the bottom.

Q: What are its stats?
The same as the Extra Bows Emerald Bow. It does not change the base damage.

Q: What effects does it give?
While held in your main hand, it grants Resistance II, Speed II, Jump Boost II, Regeneration II, and Night Vision. The effects fade a few seconds after you put the bow away.

Q: Can I shoot without arrows in my inventory?
Yes. To balance this, arrows fly in a straight line, disappear after 10 seconds, and cannot be picked up (except in Creative mode).

Q: Do the arrows cause lag or affect world TPS?
Arrows are removed after 10 seconds, so they do not pile up. The particle trail is generated by the server, so many players firing at once on a large server may add some load.

Q: Does it keep Emerald Bow upgrades when crafted?
Not currently. Upgrades on the Emerald Bow used in the recipe are lost.

Q: Can I include Sagittarius in my modpack?
Yes, as long as you give proper credit to the creator
