RandRolls
Destiny-inspired randomized swords and bows with perks, loot drops, and a reroll station.
介绍
RandRolls
MCRandRolls adds Destiny-inspired weapon rolls to Minecraft. Swords, axes and bows drop from mobs and chests with random stats and perks. Use the Reroll Station to reroll a weapon while keeping selected perks.
Randomized weapons
All weapons roll damage and durability. Swords and axes also roll attack speed, reach and knockback; bows roll draw speed.
There are four rarities, with these default perk limits:
- Common — 1 perk
- Rare — up to 2 perks
- Legendary — up to 3 perks
- Exotic — up to 4 perks
Exotics can have generated names, built-in Origin Traits and different sword or axe models. Built-in traits count towards the perk limit.
Stat ranges, rarity weights and perk limits are configurable.
70 perks
Perks roll at Tier I, II or III, with higher tiers increasing values such as damage, duration or range. Some perks are restricted to bows or melee weapons. Configurable limits control which perks can roll together.
Precision means a melee critical hit or critical arrow, not a headshot. Effects respect Minecraft’s armour and immunities.
Elemental perks
- Scorch — Applies fire damage over time. Fire-immune enemies remain immune.
- Chill — Slows movement and lowers the attack-speed stat.
- Jolt — Gives hits a chance to chain lightning to nearby enemies.
- Volatile — Killed enemies burst, damaging nearby targets without breaking blocks.
- Drain — Heals on hit and applies weak Blight.
- Rime — Applies a milder Chill with a longer duration.
- Spark — Gives hits a chance to arc damage to one nearby enemy.
- Solar Flare — Precision hits spread Scorch; secondary targets also take burst damage.
- Voltshot — A kill charges the next hit to arc damage to nearby enemies.
- Incandescent — Kills spread weak Scorch to nearby enemies.
- Headstone — Precision kills leave a temporary frost field that slows enemies entering it. No blocks are placed.
- Chill Clip — Three hits on the same target briefly apply Slowness III.
- Destabilizing Rounds — Kills reveal and mark nearby enemies. Each mark adds damage to one later direct hit from that weapon.
- Slice — Precision hits temporarily reduce the target’s outgoing damage.
- Hatchling — Precision kills send delayed strikes at nearby enemies. Cover and distance can stop them. No mobs are spawned.
Triggered perks
- Kill Clip — Grants a temporary damage bonus after a kill.
- Precision Instrument — Increases critical-hit damage.
- Frenzy — Grants bonus damage after sustained combat.
- Opening Shot — Increases the first hit’s damage after a pause between hits.
- Guillotine — Deals more damage to enemies with low remaining health.
- Bleed — Repeated hits build stacking damage over time.
- Blight — Deals damage over time and reduces healing received.
- Cleave — Melee hits splash part of their damage onto nearby enemies.
- Aftershock — Hits can trigger a burst that damages enemies around the target.
- Rampage — Kills build temporary damage stacks.
- Vorpal — Deals more damage to enemies with high maximum health.
- Trench Barrel — Adds damage to close-range melee attacks.
- Demoralize — Applies Weakness on hit.
- Feeding Frenzy — Grants Haste after a kill.
- Surplus — Kills drop extra XP.
- Arrowhead — Increases bow arrow damage.
- Adagio — A kill charges one stronger hit. Wait a second before attacking; an early hit loses the charge.
- One for All — Hit three different enemies to earn a temporary damage bonus.
- Encore — Precision kills briefly increase melee reach.
- Timed Payload — Nonlethal hits schedule a delayed burst on the target and nearby enemies, without terrain damage.
Passive perks
- Reassurance — Periodically grants Regeneration while held at low health.
- Lightweight — Periodically grants a short movement-speed boost while held.
- Keep Going — Taking damage while holding a rolled melee weapon grants brief Resistance.
- Air Assault — Falling more than two blocks grants brief Slow Falling.
- Eddy Current — Sustained swimming grants brief Dolphin’s Grace.
- Shoot to Loot — Precision bow hits collect one nearby loose arrow stack, if visible and available for pickup.
- Perpetual Motion — Sustained grounded sprinting grants brief Jump Boost.
- Tunnel Vision — Stationary crouching builds Night Vision, which lingers briefly afterwards.
- Hip-Fire Grip — Reduces initial bow arrow spread while moving without crouching. Does not steer arrows or increase damage.
- Eye of the Storm — At low health, reduces damage from the next eligible hostile hit.
- Under Pressure — Hostile hits while underwater restore a small amount of air.
- Unrelenting — Three distinct hostile kills within a short window restore hunger, not saturation.
- Heal Clip — A hostile kill charges an ally heal. Crouch to channel it for nearby injured allies; it does not heal the wielder.
- Repulsor Brace — When a hostile hit breaks your absorption shield, nearby enemies are pushed back and slowed.
- Turnabout — Surviving a hostile projectile charges one stronger melee counterattack.
Origin Traits
A weapon can roll at most one Origin Trait. It counts towards the weapon’s perk limit.
- Enduring Presence — Periodically grants Regeneration while held. Higher tiers improve the frequency.
- Piercing — Allows bow arrows to pierce additional targets.
- Iron Lungs — Periodically grants Resistance while held.
- Sprint Grip — Periodically grants a short movement-speed boost while held.
- Reconstruction — Gradually repairs the held weapon.
- Subsistence — Restores health after a kill.
- Wellspring — Replenishes a temporary absorption shield after a kill.
- Impulse — Adds knockback to melee hits.
- Eagle Eye — Increases bow arrow damage.
- Threat Detector — Periodically reveals nearby hostile mobs with Glowing.
- Alacrity — Adds a small damage bonus when no other players are nearby.
- Land Tank — Hostile kills build short-lived defensive stacks.
- Vanguard Vindication — Hostile kills remove one temporary harmful status effect.
- Bray Inheritance — Precision kills repair the most worn equipped armour piece.
- Field Tested — Three target-switching hits grant a short speed burst.
- Souldrinker — A hostile kill banks a healing charge for a later hit.
- To Excess — Hostile kills at full health grant brief Jump Boost.
- Omolon Fluid Dynamics — Above 80% weapon durability, spends durability to reduce damage from an eligible direct fire or lightning hit.
- Häkke Breach Armaments — Adds damage against absorption, capped by the shield remaining before the hit.
- SUROS Synergy — A precision hit shortly after equipping grants temporary knockback resistance.
Loot and survival
The default chance to add a rolled weapon to ordinary mob loot is 1.5%, or 5% for chest loot. Elite enemies, bosses and certain chests have higher drop chances or better rarity odds. All rates are configurable; bosses do not guarantee an Exotic.
Rare, Legendary and Exotic drops have rarity-coloured glints. Picking up a Legendary or Exotic plays a sound only the collecting player hears.
Reroll Station
Craft the station with an Iron Block in the centre and Wooden Planks in the other eight slots.
Insert a rolled weapon to reroll its stats and unlocked perks. The default cost is 5 XP levels, multiplied by 2.5 for each locked perk. These costs are configurable.
Rerolling keeps rarity, Exotic name and appearance, built-in perk tiers, locked perks and durability percentage. Built-in perks are kept for free. The station cannot change a weapon’s rarity.
The station shows which stats and perks changed after each reroll. Hold Shift over another rolled weapon to compare it with a held weapon of the same type.
Effects and sound
- Each perk has its own particle effects.
- Custom sounds with subtitles.
- Damage numbers for hits and damage over time.
- On-screen timers for Kill Clip, Frenzy, Rampage and Opening Shot.
- Bow charge meter and a sound when fully drawn.
- Rarity-coloured tooltips, animated weapon models and custom bow visuals.
Speed from Sprint Grip, Lightweight and Field Tested does not change your FOV by default. Normal sprint and Speed potion FOV are unchanged.
Particles, sound, damage numbers and HUD elements have separate client settings.
Repairs and enchantments
Repair rolled weapons with Echo Shards in an anvil, following normal repair costs.
- Unbreaking works on all rolled weapon types.
- Looting is melee-only by default, with a server option for bows.
- Infinity is bow-only.
- Mending is allowed by default. Servers can block new applications without removing existing enchantments.
- Normal weapon restrictions, maximum levels and enchantment conflicts still apply, including Mending versus Infinity.
Commands
Give weapons, choose rarities and edit the perks on held weapons:

/mcrandrolls give @s axe exotic
/mcrandrolls give @s bow rare
/mcrandrolls inspect @s
/mcrandrolls perk list
/mcrandrolls perk set @s voltshot 3
/mcrandrolls perk remove @s voltshot
Commands that change weapons require permission level 2. Perk edits must fit the weapon type, perk limit and combination rules. Built-in Exotic perks cannot be removed.
