TenSura: HNN Compatibility

TenSura: HNN Compatibility adds full Hostile Neural Networks integration for TenSura: Reincarnated and supported TenSura add-ons.

Instead of TenSura mobs being unavailable to Hostile Neural Networks, this mod adds Data Models for them so they can be trained, simulated, and used with the Loot Fabricator like normal HNN mobs.

The goal is simple: make Hostile Neural Networks feel like it was built to work with a large TenSura modpack.

Features

143 Hostile Neural Network Models

Adds 143 HNN Data Models covering mobs and bosses from TenSura: Reincarnated and supported TenSura add-ons.

This includes everything from normal monsters and humanoid enemies to many of the larger bosses added throughout the pack.

Supported mob-containing mods currently include:

• TenSura: Reincarnated

• Elite Tensura

• Magicule Glutton

• Mysticism

• Nightmare Utils

• TenSura Guild

• TenSura: New Beginnings

• TenSura More Skills

• TR: Nightmare

Support for optional add-ons is conditional. If an add-on is not installed, its HNN models simply will not load.

Loot Fabricator Support

TenSura mob drops have been converted into Hostile Neural Networks Fabricator rewards.

The compatibility layer accounts for more than just normal Minecraft entity loot tables.

It also includes drops that TenSura handles through custom death logic, equipment systems, and other mechanics that HNN would normally never see.

Examples include:

• Normal mob drops

• Boss drops

• Equipped weapons

• Shields

• Special equipment

• Add-on specific materials

• Magic Tomes

• Conditional modded rewards

• Magic Crystals

Rare rewards generally produce smaller Fabricator batches while common resources can produce larger amounts.

The Fabricator does not attempt to recreate exact vanilla/TenSura loot probabilities or Looting behavior. Instead, HNN exposes the valid item rewards as Fabricator choices.

Magic Crystal Integration

TenSura’s Magic Crystal drops are handled through special TenSura loot logic rather than ordinary entity loot tables.

This mod reproduces that system for HNN.

Eligible TenSura mobs can produce:

• Low Quality Magic Crystals

• Medium Quality Magic Crystals

• High Quality Magic Crystals

Crystal tiers are assigned using the actual EP ranges used by TenSura rather than arbitrary mob categories.

Some mobs can naturally cross an EP threshold depending on their generated stats. Those models can provide either valid crystal tier.

Equipment Drops

Several TenSura humanoid mobs drop equipment through custom death code rather than their normal loot table.

These rewards are also supported.

Examples include equipment from:

• Falmuth Knights

• Dwarven Royal Guards

• Folgen

• Gazel Dwargo

• Hinata Sakaguchi

• Mai Furuki

• Mark Lauren

• Shin Ryusei

This means their HNN predictions can reproduce equipment that a normal loot-table-only compatibility mod would miss.

Lootless Models Are Disabled by Default

Some TenSura entities are valid mobs that HNN can learn from but have no actual ItemStack loot to fabricate.

Rather than filling the Loot Fabricator with predictions that do nothing, these models are disabled by default.

Modpack authors can enable any of them through:

config/tensura-hnn-compat-empty-models.toml

Each lootless model has its own toggle.

Example:

Change an entry to true to make that prediction available again.

There is also:

enable_all_empty_models = true

for pack authors who want every available model enabled.

Once enabled, the model can be overridden with a datapack to add whatever custom Fabricator rewards fit your modpack.

This gives pack authors control without forcing arbitrary fake drops into the default compatibility mod.

Built for Modpacks

The mod was designed around large TenSura installations where many add-ons may be present.

Optional integrations are protected so missing add-ons do not prevent the datapack from loading.

Required:

• Hostile Neural Networks

• Their required dependencies

Other supported TenSura add-ons are optional.

Configuration

After launching the game with the mod installed, the following file is generated:

config/tensura-hnn-compat-empty-models.toml

All lootless predictions are disabled by default.

Modpack authors can selectively enable them or turn them all on with the master option.

Installation

Place TenSura: HNN Compatibility in your mods folder alongside TenSura and Hostile Neural Networks.

If upgrading from an older version of this compatibility mod, remove the old JAR rather than keeping multiple versions installed.

Existing worlds do not require a reset.

Why This Mod Exists

TenSura adds a massive number of mobs, bosses, materials, weapons, and progression resources, while Hostile Neural Networks provides one of the best ways to automate mob resources.

Without compatibility, the two systems largely exist separately.

TenSura: HNN Compatibility connects them.

Train TenSura mobs.

Create predictions.

Run simulations.

Fabricate their resources.

And give modpack authors control over the edge cases.
