TenSura EP Scaling Compatibility fixes a compatibility issue between TenSura: Reincarnated and Tensura EP Scaling that can cause valid TenSura gear definitions to be skipped.

TenSura allows gear data to omit maxEP and internally uses a default value of 2,000,000 EP. Tensura EP Scaling 1.1.1 assumes that maxEP is always explicitly present, which causes errors during gear loading and prevents affected items from being registered for EP scaling.

This compatibility mod patches that behavior so missing maxEP values correctly use TenSura’s own default.

How it works

Instead of maintaining a large list of patched gear JSON files, this mod fixes the EP Scaling parser itself.

When EP Scaling reads a TenSura gear definition:

If maxEP exists, the original value is used.
If maxEP is missing, the mod supplies 2,000,000 EP, matching TenSura’s normal behavior.

This keeps the compatibility generic and allows optional TenSura add-ons to work without being added as hard dependencies.

Why this mod exists

Several TenSura and TenSura add-on gear definitions legitimately omit maxEP. Without this compatibility fix, Tensura EP Scaling can throw loading errors and skip those items entirely.

This mod restores the behavior TenSura expects so those items can participate in EP Scaling correctly.
