Decky Edition

Decky Edition is a Vanilla+ modpack built for handheld devices, with a strong focus on the Steam Deck and controllers. It’s meant to feel like the vanilla game, just smoother, better looking, and comfortable to play on small screens.

It works right out of the box. The default controls are built around handheld devices, but every binding can be changed.

Visuals stay close to vanilla, with small touches and improvements that feel cartoony and stylized which should look beautiful on any device. Performance comes first, and anything visual can be turned down or off freely.

Important Note ⚠️ READ
Performance settings are set up on purpose for the Steam Deck. Please don’t change them unless you know what you’re doing, since it can hurt frame pacing and stability.

Shaders can reach 30–60 FPS depending on the scene, but we recommend a 50 FPS cap with shaders on. It gives the smoothest frame pacing and about 2–3 hours of battery on a full charge, depending on usage.
