This datapack offers a way of talking in the chat without having to access it directly.

How to :

Take a Book & Quill (writable_book) and write whatever you want to send in chat.

> Then “Sign” it and name it “/chat” for it to be detected by the datapack.

>> Then click on it to read it (/!\ IN YOUR MAIN HAND /!\), it will then clear your main hand and send the message in the chat with your name.

TODO :

Add a smart way of getting a special book so that players don’t have to craft it everytime they want to talk…
Prevent players from using others’ book so that they don’t send messages they haven’t wrote
Add some colors ?
Make it so the page 2 indicates how the book works so that people don’t think they can write huge messages (ONLY THE FIRST PAGE COUNTS)
Indicate more clearly that the message is sent from a book
