Shorter Swords

A simple resource pack that gives every sword in the game a shorter blade. ⚔️

If vanilla swords feel too long or bulky in your inventory and hotbar, this pack trims them down for a cleaner, tighter look.

Included swords

• Wooden Sword
• Stone Sword
• Golden Sword
• Iron Sword
• Diamond Sword
• Netherite Sword
• Copper Sword

Features

• Shorter blades on every sword
• Lightweight, since it only changes 7 textures and nothing else
• Same 16x style as vanilla, so it fits in with the rest of the game
• Works with other packs, just put it above any pack that also changes swords

Installation

1. Download the .zip file (don’t unzip it)
2. Put it in your resourcepacks folder
3. Enable it in Options → Resource Packs

⚠️ “Incompatible pack” warning

Minecraft may say this pack was made for a newer or older version of the game. Ignore it, the pack still works. Just click Yes/Continue, or enable it anyway.

Notes

• Only the item textures are changed. Sword models, animations, and sounds stay vanilla.
