Red Eyed Totem.

Forged from ancient wood and bound with forgotten magic, the Red-Eyed Totem watches even when no one is near. Its glowing crimson eyes are said to awaken only in moments of true danger. Legends say the totem does not save its bearer out of kindness, but out of a pact—one life spared in exchange for a mark upon the soul.

Those who carry the Red-Eyed Totem feel a cold presence at their back, as if something unseen is following them through the world. When death comes close, the eyes burn brighter, bending fate itself and pulling the bearer back from the void.

But be warned: every time the totem activates, its gaze lingers longer… and one day, it may decide not to let go.
