qambs Sift Mobs

Turn familiar Minecraft mobs into Sift creatures using name tags! This resource pack adapts the Sift models for existing mobs, with adjusted sizes and a few simple animations.

The creatures can move around your world using the behavior of the Minecraft mobs underneath. This pack changes their appearance; it does not give them custom AI, sounds, or abilities.

Requirements

Minecraft Java Edition — shown and tested on 26.2

Entity Model Features (EMF)

Entity Texture Features (ETF)

Both mods are required. This release is for Java Edition.
How to use

Install EMF and ETF for your Minecraft version and mod loader.

Place the resource-pack ZIP in your resourcepacks folder.

Enable it under Options → Resource Packs.

Use an anvil to rename a name tag to one of the names below.

Apply that name tag to the corresponding Minecraft mob.

Use the spelling, capitalization, and spaces shown in the table.

All 20 require the resource pack enabled with Entity Model Features (EMF) and Entity Texture Features (ETF) installed.

For entries marked adult, baby, or small, use that specific age or size.

I used those models, resized them to fit existing Minecraft mobs, and added a few simple animations for this pack.

What’s next?

I’m working on a separate mod to give these creatures their own AI, sounds, and abilities. The bosses are planned for that mod, since existing Minecraft mobs weren’t a good fit for them.

A full tutorial and showcase world download are also planned. If enough people are interested, I’ll explore making a Bedrock version too.
