Ever since 2020, I’ve been wondering: what if I could bring the textures and material qualities of the real world into Minecraft, while preserving its iconic visual identity?

For years, academic commitments and the pressures of everyday life kept me from turning this idea into reality. But now, at long last, that vision has finally come to life.

EXTREAL is a name born from the fusion of Extreme and Real. When I came up with it, I wanted to explore just how far I could push realism within the framework of Minecraft.

As you play, you’ll find that everything looks remarkably real, yet still unmistakably Minecraft. That’s the balance we’re striving for: pushing the boundaries of realism without losing the essence of the game we all know and love.
