Commettey’s Ultima

Commettey’s Ultima is a datapack I’ve been working on that adds a bunch of custom relics to Minecraft, each with its own abilities, recipes, and ways to obtain them. Some are crafted normally, while others require you to do specific things in the world to unlock them.

Most of the relics have special effects when held in your offhand, so you can use them while still keeping your main hand free. Your goal is to collect the relics and eventually work your way up to Ultima Minecraftia, the ultimate late-game relic.

The Relics

Aspect of Mining

Want to spend less time mining? Hold this in your offhand below Y=30 to get Haste I and Night Vision. To obtain it, hold the Stone Heart in your offhand and the Ore Orb in your main hand while standing on bedrock.

Bestial Essence

Gives you Speed I while held in your offhand. A simple relic that helps you get around faster.

Celestial Emblem

Gives you Night Vision while held in your offhand. To get it, hold the Villager Medal in your offhand and the Biome Globe in your main hand while above Y=195.

Everything Bagel

A relic made from a collection of different foods. Craft it and give it a try. Let’s just say it has some interesting effects!

Megaton Singularity

Every mob kill becomes a little more explosive. Hold it in your offhand and killing a mob will trigger a blast that damages nearby mobs. There’s also a small Easter egg involving trying to eat it.

Natura Resonance

Hold this in your offhand while standing on a grass block to get Regeneration I.

Nether Core

Grants Fire Resistance while held in your offhand and protects you from the Wither effect.

Soul of the Ocean

Get Conduit Power and Dolphin’s Grace while holding this in your offhand and touching water. Great for exploring oceans and underwater structures.

Stone Heart

An important part of one of the relic rituals. You’ll need it to obtain the Aspect of Mining.

Ore Orb

Another item needed for the Aspect of Mining ritual. You’ll need to hold it in your main hand while using the Stone Heart.

Biome Globe

Used in the ritual to obtain the Celestial Emblem.

Villager Medal

Another item required for the Celestial Emblem ritual. You’ll need to hold it in your offhand.

Ultima Minecraftia

The final relic, and the main goal of the datapack.

While held in your offhand, it gives you Strength I and Resistance I, along with different effects depending on which dimension you’re in:

• Overworld: Hero of the Village and Night Vision
• Nether: Fire Resistance
• The End: Regeneration

A few things to know

This datapack took me a couple of days to make, and it’s the biggest datapack I’ve made so far. I put a lot of work into it, and I really hope you enjoy playing with it!

The download includes both a datapack and a resource pack. You’ll need to separate them from the ZIP file and install each one in the correct folder.
