Bushy Leaves Enhanced

Adds fuller, bushier leaf models with varied shapes, natural decorations and matching item models while preserving Minecraft’s familiar leaf textures and colors.



Bushy Leaves Enhanced gives Minecraft’s trees fuller canopies with projecting leaf planes, varied silhouettes and small natural details while keeping the familiar appearance of the original leaf textures.

Different tree species use different foliage styles, from broad oak leaves and airy birch foliage to narrow spruce branches, lush jungle leaves and softer flowering canopies.

Each supported leaf type uses multiple foliage layouts and rotations to reduce repetition, creating more natural variation throughout forests and individual trees.

Selected leaves can also feature subtle decorative details such as acorns, apples, birch catkins, spruce cones, jungle orchids, vines, cherries and blossoms.

These additions are purely visual and do not add new drops, harvesting mechanics, growth systems or other gameplay changes.

🌿 Bushy Foliage	Adds projecting leaf planes around leaf blocks to create fuller, softer and less blocky tree canopies.
🌳 Species-Specific Shapes	Different trees use different foliage styles, including broad, airy, coniferous, lush and flowering shapes.
🔄 Natural Variation	Each leaf type uses three foliage layouts with four rotations, creating up to 12 possible appearances per block.
🍎 Natural Decorations	Selected trees can feature small fruits, blossoms, catkins, cones, vines and other subtle decorative details.
🎨 Original Leaf Textures	Uses Minecraft’s existing leaf texture paths instead of replacing the original leaf artwork.
🌈 Preserved Colors	Biome-tinted leaves continue to follow their biome colors, while naturally colored leaves keep their original appearance.
🎒 Bushy Item Models	Leaf blocks also use matching expanded foliage models when displayed in inventories or held by the player.
🧱 Neighbor Culling	Decorative geometry hides against neighboring blocks where possible to reduce unnecessary visible faces.
✨ Purely Visual	Decorations do not add drops, harvestable fruit, growth mechanics or other gameplay changes.
