Bare Bones – 2D Block Items

This pack aims to replace every 3D model in the inventory with a custom 2D sprite.
It also revamps a bunch of existing 2D items with all new textures to match the new style!

These textures only appear in the inventory and have no effect on the blocks model in the players hand or on the ground.

This is essentially the opposite of Block-Accurate: 3D Item Models, where it makes 3D blocks 2D, instead of 2D items 3D.

This resource pack is completely vanilla. No mods are required.

• Blocks within the inventory are given a unique, individually drawn sprite.
• The blocks remain 3D when in the world, e.g. Players hand, ground, shelves. (Excluding item frames)
• Any animated blocks will have their 2D sprites animated as well.
• Certain items have multiple textures based on the state of the block.
• Some item textures are updated also.

Special features:

• Shields have been given a 2D sprite, which changes colour based on the banner pattern applied.
• Maps have been retextured to match the new 26.3 update, with unique sprites for each explorer map location. Includes mod support!
• Waxed copper blocks have a yellow outline to tell them apart in the inventory.

If you are using this for versions 26.1+, I recommend also downloading Bare Bones x Wilderness Bound. My textures for versions 26.2 and 26.3 are based off this pack.

This pack is a work in progress, I have textured approximately 85% of all blocks in the game. More to come!
