Alternative Poplar is a lightweight resource pack that recolors Minecraft’s Poplar wood set while keeping the original vanilla texture style intact.

The goal is simple: give Poplar a more natural and visually interesting color palette without changing its identity or making it feel out of place in Minecraft.

Features

• Recolors the full Poplar wood set.
• Warmer and more natural wood tones themed around olive/sage green.
• Designed to complement autumn foliage.
• Preserves the original pixel art and texture detail.
• Includes signs, hanging signs, boats, doors, logs, planks, etc.
• Does not modify Poplar leaves, saplings, or leaf litter.
• No gameplay changes.

Installation

1. Download the resource pack.
2. Place the ZIP file in your Minecraft resourcepacks folder.
3. Open Minecraft.
4. Go to Options > Resource Packs.
5. Enable Alternative Poplar.

Compatibility

Designed for Minecraft Java Edition versions containing the Poplar wood set (currently intended for 26.3).
