!! This resource pack is a Work in Progress !!

New World is a resource pack that gives Minecraft’s textures, models and animations a unique look. I started working on it because as a pixel artist i like drawing already existing spritework in my own style, originally this was just meant for me but seeing enough people liking the new textures made me want to publish the pack for anyone to use.

The style i’m going for, in my opinion, fits relatively well with the vanilla game which IS something i keep in mind when i draw the new textures. At the same time it’s not meant to be Vanilla 2, the main goal of the pack is to give a new visual experience to the game and it does heavily modify the way the it looks.

I’m not sure how to describe the artstyle of the pack, the best label i could give it is “cartoony” and even so it’s just because the original artstyle is also kind of like that. I try giving each item a bit of personality, like different designs for every shovel, pickaxe and sword, the raw metal ores have very different shapes, the netherite scrap is a ball of cracked metal, the clay ball is visibly moist and some of them have new animated sprites.

{ As of now the pack is still in development, only a handful of items have been resprited incluiding all tooltiers, metals, gemstones, some food items, potions and other “common” items like feathers, clay, flint, etc. }
