Verity [ Horror ] follows a small yellow companion who can talk, help out, and make you question whether opening that box was a good idea. The pack keeps Verity JE at the centre of the experience.
▶ Set up Verity firstOpen Mods → Verity → Config → AI Settings. Choose Local AI Setup (Ollama) or a supported cloud provider. |
Then open the boxOpen the box in your world and try “Verity, hello”. Voice needs its own setup. Local models need enough memory. These instructions are for Verity JE 6.0.0. |
Start a conversationTalk through chat, or set up voice and speak to him. His replies depend on the model you choose. |
Take him alongPick him up with an empty hand while he is quiet, then place him somewhere new. He does not have to stay where you found him. |
Decide how far it goesReview darkness, hostility, and kick settings before playing. You can adjust the experience without removing the companion. |
