All men must Mine, All men must Craft

ThroneCraft is intented as a vanilla+ modpack aimed for roleplay with minimal mechanics added to the game yet plenty of more subtle changes to enhance the gameplay.

Performance

With multiple optimising mods including Sodium, the modpack runs much better than regular Minecraft especially for those with lower hardware specs. It also includes Distant Horizons to give huge render distances with minimal lag.

Quality of Life

Even though we all love Minecraft how it was intended, some things just need modernising. Included are many QoL features just to make playing easier and more fun, including;

• AppleSkin – for more information about food.
• Inventory Essentials – for better use of your inventory.
• Freecam – freely move your camera and see your build from afar.
• RightClickHarvest – harvest and re-plant crops in a larger area with a hoe.
• Sodium Dynamic Lighting – torches held in your hand emit light so you can see better.
• And much more!

These aren’t intended to make the core gameplay too easy – just to make it easy enough to focus on roleplaying with your friends instead!

Multiplayer Mods

Also included are a few mods for playing on servers, as intended for this modpack. Simple Voice Chat stops the need for Discord calls and helps immersify yourself in the world; What Are They Up To is a fun little mod that lets you see what other players are doing, be it typing or in inventory; Universal Shops for trading between players.

Game Changers

Like mentioned, there isn’t much changed in the mechanics of the game, with the exception of 2 things:

• Distant Horizons – gives you the option for a 32-chunk render distance, and stores further chunks at lower quality, up to 1000 blocks away!
• Terralith – a simple terrain generation mod that makes the world flow a bit better, while bringing back crazy mountain ranges like in old Minecraft. It also brings along new biomes, reusing existing blocks/trees so to not bloat the game, and also floating islands.
