Tales & Crafts

-DISCLAIEMRERS:

The modpack is still work in progress so expect bugs and glitches. 

As of now there is no guide for the modpack but I’ll work on one soon. 

-The idea behind the modpack:

Tales & Crafts is a bodpack based on the idea of role playing, it’s recommended to be played in multiplayer but it’s fun for solo players too but the more players the better. The ideea is to roleplay create your stories and share them, the modpack offers plenty of content from dungeons and bosses in the overworld to an overhauled nether and end plus Twilight Forest and Eternal Starlight to explore and make your own stories, just have fun exploring.

-Classes: 

Work in progress. 

Tales & Crafts doesn’t lock you into a specific class but there is a leveling system witch uses exp for stats:

Strenght, Constitution, Dexterity, Defence, Inteligence, Building, Magic and Luck. Items have requirements now you need to level up to use them for example a claymore will require Stenght and Constitution in order to be used. The skill tree will be expanded in the future. 

-Weapons and Combat: 

Combat has been overhauled too, using better combat and parcool to have a nice and dynamic experience while fighting hordes of zombies or armies of players. I also added lots of new weapons types so everyone can pick what they like. As for the magic users, iron’s spells and spellbooks is the bread and butter here.

-Equipment and Enchanting

The modpack add lots of armors and also relics and artefacts to help you design your character and to add passives. As for enchanting Apotheosis is here so please bring your sword to someone that knows what they are doing. Besides if you like fashion, there is a tab that allows you to use any armor as a cosmethic just like a vanity item. 

-Traveling + Mounts and Pets 

Waystones are here if you don’t like walking/ exploring.

Mounts will be found in the wild or can be a drop from a boss, for the ones found in the wild youll have to tame them just like a horse. 

Pets are overhauled and made better so go and explore with your best friend.

Flight has also been overhauled and made a lot better, you no longer need rockets and it actualy feels like flying. 

-Economy

Most of the mobs you defeat will drop coins, get yourself a wallet and keep them, every trader in the game will require those coins to trade with you. The money system gets better the more players are. 

-Improved Mobs 

With Improved AI: Hivemind mobs are now smarter, zombies place or break blocks, creepers try to flank you they run when they are low health as the world gets older the mobs get wiser. 

Also enemy diversity, there are lot of new enemies to fight from basic enemies to elites and bosses you either sleep through the night or be prepared.
